My daughter did science and engineering completions for 6 years actually won each year except for her last year and even won on the international level!! She is not a scientist or engineer but she is a leader and learned how to promote her project and did all the hard work to get each of her projects to the international level we were so proud of her! she won lots of scholarships and money to put towards college and got to have so many wonderful experiences in the process!! She turned 50 a week ago and she just put another big win under her belt a few months ago and you can’t even imagine how proud this momma is at 71!!

Showing up for family --- My oldest brother is in a nursing home with Parkinson's and not doing well so the remaining brother and sisters were able to get together with him last weekend. It has been a long time since all of us have been together because we are all over the country. There are 5 sisters out of the 6 and 1 brother out of the 2 left making a total of 7 out of 9 of us kids left. Lost my youngest brother to cancer and my sister down next to me from several illnesses. It was also a fast turn-around for us and so nice to be together and talk over old times growing up.

I loved this video! I'm the same age as your dad. Congratulations to your daughter! I showed up for my mom when she was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis. After a family meeting, I moved her into home and cared for her for 4 years until the disease caused her death. In the process, my kids (now adults) learned a very important lesson. It was hard on us, but none of regret the sacrifices. ❤

Awe sweet-congrats!! How fun!! On the lamp, why not at another wood round, maybe 1/4" to 1/2" thick, just smaller than the opening of the globe, drill another hole in the middle for the bulb or even make that a bigger hold if the bulb needs the room and tack it to the larger round. Seems like that may hold better than routing a groove?

I've recently discovered your channel. What a bubbly yet genuine enthusiasm you exude! I also like to create with my machine embroidery. I've been so busy with a career change that I haven't done anything this year. I did decide to get out of my comfort zone and use black, gold, crystal, and white in my Christmas decor. I love red and have used it repeatedly over the years. It is time to embrace something new. Your excitement and creativity encourages me so thank you. My two daughters are/were also introverts. Singing, dancing and acting in school and church musicals helped build their confidence, and it was so much fun to watch. I actually sewed up many costumes over the years for productions.
