It's funny how many americans think they say ''Fun Fun Fun On The Autobahn'' when it's actually ''Wir fahr'n fahr'n fahr'n auf der Autobahn''
@Aieaue6 жыл бұрын
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autobahn_(song) The lyrics of the song are in German, the main refrain being "Wir fahren fahren fahren auf der Autobahn" (English: "We drive drive drive on the Autobahn"). The chorus was often mistaken for the English phrase "Fun fun fun on the Autobahn" and thought to be a reference to the 1964 Beach Boys' song "Fun, Fun, Fun". ...

Musical minimalism at its best. Kraftwerk were groundbreaking pioneers of electronic music 45 years ago, and they still are today - better than ever and a musical 'gesamtkunstwerk' in each of their live performances. They accompanied my life, and I was with them all the way - built my 1st synthesiser, played their songs, etc. In my view one of the most iconic German bands of all theme; they should be elected to the Hall of Fame. Can anyone initiate this, please ?

It's amazing the simple melodies and bass lines Ralf and Florian came up with, and the sounds to go with them. And they come off sounding so BIG and dramatic, and subconsciously meaningful. Even with all the hard and software synths today and amazing sound quality, the music is just so lame, repetitive, and unmemorable. And Rolling Stone Record Guide called Kraftwerks albums "music to watch goldfish sleep by".
