Ship build: s.orbis.zone/9n5P
I've been hesitant to do a Krait Mk II build because, much like the Fer-de-Lance, it's a ship I just don't really get on with, but I couldn't tell you why. I guess they just don't really suit my flying style. They feel too heavy. For me, they struggle with close range combat (my preferred method of engagement) because they just can't turn fast enough when you need them to. Even with 4 pips to ENG, the Krait feels like you need to be almost perma-boosting to keep up with your target. And for some unfathomable reason you seem to spend more time going backwards than forwards, even under full boost. Like the onboard computer is having an existential crisis trying to keep the ship roughly where you want it to be.
I suspect the SLF may have something to do with that, though, and your targets spend more time trying to chase after it than you, putting you out of position. I may have to test that with another build.
