Looks like those p2 perform like an fdl: once the shield is down, you re dead. And no opportunity to restore the shield: no good banks, no biweave (too weak hull to hold before the biweave returns).

I think that’s the problem, we’re trying to fly it like an FDL using FDL build thinking, I recon we need to use a build that is gonna be unique for this ship.

Because this ship doesn't give us much choice: 6 boosters, weak hull, 6A shield, OC pp, 6A pd with 4xL and 2xM hardpoints. This means - a shield tank with frags/torps+rails.

@@Tokson81 thanks mate. In fact the ship-building model is not that difficult in ED. Purpose of every ship is pretty obvious.
