Appreciate your videos a lot but in my opinion it's not about the ship but the pilot skills,you're good with any ax ship you fly...I suck mostly (against Interceptors I mean), never mind the ship 😂 By the way keep on your good work it's very usefull for us all.

Just out of curiosity, between the MK2 and the Phantom, which do you prefer overall? It's hard to determine if more damage trumps speed or vice versa. In technicality, the theoretical damage output of the Anaconda is far better than anything in the game, but we all know that the speed and maneuverability of a well flown FDL can out match it almost every single time despite having lower damage. I'm curious how people feel about the same case between MK2 and Phantom.

my opinion is that the phantom is much much better for AX - again this is jut opinion but the Krait MK2 suffers a lot with it's handling - the phantom handles really well with boost orbiting and is just so very fast :)

Would you say that the Kraits are more efficient for the pilot who insists on basic ammo only? Or does the maneuverability of the Chieftain make up for the reduced damage?

the Krait MK2 really only has an advantage if you are not orbiting. Like when a CMDR is new to AX and just slugging it out with Cyclops then the Krait has a lot of protection to allow them to survive the fight. The Phantom is an excellent ship but requires constant boost orbit which takes more skill than either of the Alliance ships as they can orbit just fine under normal thrusters. In my opinion the Challenger is a better option for more firepower as it handles almost as well as the chieftain but can mount more medium gauss cannons :) The Chieftain yes can dance around targets avoiding almost all damage - still the best choice if you ask me

Great flying, but can you tell me the firing set up that you have as it appears you have Gauss Cannons assigned to primary and secondary triggers, yet you seem able to fire off a heat sink (shown in the column next to the secondary) without changing the heatsinks assignments, how on earth do you do that? I need all the help I can get, I can take down a Cyclops OK but get wiped out pretty quickly by a basilisk every time.

there is an assignable keybind for heatsinks under cooling in the controls options

I was wondering that if heat is such an issue, then why not use Low Emissions power plants (especially on these shieldless builds)? Sure it has less health than armored, but is it that often that power plant is lost, especially with all those module reinforcements. Additionally the faster heat dissipation could help with both dps and damage mitigation. Anyhow, surely this has been tested as it seems you the Anti-Xeno groups test everything :-D

How did you get it to boost to 600m/s? I am not able to get my phantom to boost over 560....
