Yeah I agree on the connectors, but with these XT150’s, I’ll know right off the bat that the batteries that run with the Kraken. Grant it, it’s easy to solder on a more familiar set.

Great looking truck poor choice of electronics 780kv is not great on 8s its rated at 44v@170a 7600w so if you run 29.6v and exceed 170a limit (4200w) it will start to heat up. The 950kv would have been the better choice in that motor rated at 36v 210a perfect for 8s. Obviously both motors hit a higher peak/burst but the 950 can handle the amps it needs to draw on 8s to make continuous/peak power

I'm sure folks will, like with any other RC, upgrade the items they don't really like for their style of RCing. I'm sure, without knowing the details, the selected electronics were put in place to keep the cost at a certain price point. Good news...I saw a roller on Krakens website, so folks can "custom" build to their liking.

@@JSinistaProductions very true but the 780 and 950kv are the same 7.6kw motor (leopard). You only have to look at the spec sheets the 780kv is a 10s motor really.

Not at all. For folks like me who run strictly electric, this is right on time. Many electric Kats were taking the Kraken and converting it over from ⛽️to ⚡️anyway, so why not? Kraken must understand that money is green whether it comes from Gas/Nitro runners or Electric.
