Truly a masterpiece, perfection can't be rushed and all that hard work really paid off with the end result.

Absolutely gorgeous water effects, it was really worth the time you put into it and sets off the whole diorama. You can really imagine the bulk of the beast under all of that.

I have used wet wipes in the past as well, but I soak them in Dish washing soap and rinse them out. They dried faster, and I like how they worked after that. NICE build I have a ship I need to do something with myself. I like a Pirate Island idea! WOOOO !!! Great Build!! LOVE IT!! nice detail!

Thanks dude, the wet wipes worked out great. Wish you luck with your pirate island idea. Would love to see ut when done.

Nice to see another video of you. Beautiful diorama, one sees the movement of the action. I have the same impression you have with model ships, I have only built one. A two-masted sailboat, getting the hull completely smooth at the keel attachment point was a challenge, putting the rigging and sails together was an exercise in patience...but now it looks nice in the foyer of my house. Someday I will dare to make a diorama, thanks for the tips with the resin and the work planning.

Interesting to watch as usual. Watching all the steps (even if in disorder 😛) pointed to another nice diorama, but the final reveal showed the sum of the parts being even greater

Great end result. Always nice when so much effort pays off like that. Carving the resin with the drill bit was effective, but if you want a cleaner, easier method, have you looked into crystal clear caulk diluted with white spirits? It makes a sort of jelly you can sculpt into very realistic water, you can mix in paints to create white water too. Vallejo make some excellent water effect products too.
@creativecuts7803 Жыл бұрын
Yeah I have used crystal silicone for waterfalls and that worked great but yellowed after about a year. I have a whole range of various water effects stuff from vallejo and woodland scenics but wanted to try something different. Worked very well but I think my hand is still buzzing from all that grinding haha. Thanks for watching and great tips 👍

Incredible build mate! Credit to you for taking on such a huge project, it was well worth it in the end. Ships are a whole different beast of model that I do not have the patience for.. it would have become the literal "Flying Dutchman" as I'd probably throw it out the window lol. Can't wait to see what you'll make next👍.

Thanks for being patient. I had a few work things that needed me to travel so I couldn't build and then when I did get back to building I decided to embark on a very ambitious project... go figure haha but that is the way it goes sometimes. Also been working on something that could be super big for the channel behind the scenes but this is still very much in development but watch this space.

I have 3 iwata airbrushes. An eclipse which is my favourite, a HP-B plus and a revolution. I run them off splitter hoses with quick release fittings on the hoses. I have a moisture trap and a pressure gauge run off a little iwata compressor

Hahaha my inner voice and I are often disagreeing. Every project i tell myself, build something nice and small. So much easier to store but no, ambition takes over and they always end up bigger than planned. Thanks for watching.
