Legions personalities did not disappear. It was explained that they are still there but Legion has more control and they are categorized within him and he can pick and choosd whichever he needs as they relate too whatever powers he needs.

I should add that after doing a bit of googling I found out that they wrote in the comic that he was imbued into the 4th generation of the vote children but I kind of don't like it because they made it seem like he was going to evolve along with them but I don't know it just seems like they always do this with the potential godly characters

100%. He's in Krakoa's "system" (the database of memory uploads from Cerebro). Of at least part of him traveled with Forge outside the vault. If we give the writers the benefit of the doubt, he will be key to taking down Nimrod or Enigma as he's living code, similar to both of them. If we're being realistic, highly unlikely we hear from him again as this whole thing is just a haphazard attempt to kill the Krakoan era to facilitate mutants in the MCU.

In this case, that's a him thing. Personally I'm just a bit disappointed the sword isn't truly Nightcrawler's weaponized soul fragment and wouldn't be a permanent addition to his kit (like Illyana's soul sword) since it is technically Legion. It being Legion also feels like a piece of backpedaling since Margali supposedly extracted it from Kurt as a mystical artifact.

I won't lie, I never really cared for relationships with characters and heroes since Mary Jane left Spider-Man for... Paul 🤢. However, I like the Mystique and Destiny relationship and how it is going right now. How Mystique basically "broke up" with Destiny because she was tired of living in fear and being manipulated and lied to and used and things like that, and I know that it seems sadistic to be happy about relationships ending or falling apart or things like that, but I just like the drama and that juicy personal story stuff to deal with and build upon outside of just the regular, "good guys vs bad guys," and "destruction," and "saving," and "heroes and villains," and "death," and things like that in comics. So, I am curious and interested to see where that goes if they will ever make up or if Mystique will be with someone else or go with previous love interest like Logan or something else. I am interested in where that will go.

Nice. I agree several relationships tend to be inconsequential to me, but generally I trend for the ones that are enduring with minimal drama. That said, the twist, turns and manipulations of this couple are wildly interesting to me too. As for who they'll end up with, I'm guessing you don't spoil yourself with solicits.

I don't want a comic titled Tales of Superheroic Romance. Relationships aren't romances for Peter Parker, nor Reed and Susan, and that context of relationship doesn't bother me in superhero comics. Relationship drama doesn't appeal to me. I used to love edgy Mystique but the relationship/romance drama made her a character I brush off. It doesn't help that I never vibed with Destiny after her first death. I guess we all look for something different in entertainment.

I wonder if Hope ends up being a Sinister in anyway, if that contributed to her unconsciously fixing the Diamond Sinister's attempts to edit himself into the resurrected mutants whenever the Five brought someone back. Diamond Sinister taking out Hope to let his edits kick in resulted in the Sins of Sinister timeline, which is something that Enigma technically harvested to himself.

Enigma is the digital consciousness of the original Nathaniel Essex. Mr. Sinister, Orbis Stellaris and Dr. Stasis are clones of Essex, and Mother Righteous is a clone of Essex's wife Rebecca Essex. Their programming to try for dominion from 4 different angles were all in service to assure the digital consciousness would be the one to ascend.

Disappearing messages, but yes. The original Dr. Nathaniel Essex uploaded his digital consciousness into a mainframe. That's what became Enigma. The other four (Mr. Sinister, Dr. Stasis, Orbit Stellaris and Mother Righteous) all failed [by design] in their attempts but that fed into Enigma snatching the win and becoming Dominion.

I don’t understand what mystique is mad about. She chose to impregnate destiny and mimicked the pregnancy. Now unless they pretend Xavier made her do it unconsciously.

Mystique has a few valid reasons to be ticked at Destiny. Back when she supposedly wanted a child out of love, Destiny never told Mystique she was acting on a vision to craft a child as a way to defeat Azazel's future ascension and ruination of Earth. Then, shortly after his birth, Destiny peaced out under the cover of fleeing the angry mob and wasn't tracked down until much later, seemingly moved on from her own biological son and interested in caring for who would become Rogue. They tried to mend things, but the stress of Destiny's cold manipulations remained a stressor. Which is what pushed them to the mind wipe. Technically, without the mind wipe (even Mystique's incomplete version) Mystique was never over that. So flash forward from that anger to finding out Destiny knew the truth for some time but kept it from Mystique, her rage bubbled back up because the memories returned with all the unresolved anger from before. Mystique was thinking "Oh, this is news to share with Destiny, who doesn't know!" Only to find evidence written in a diary that she knew.

@@thunderlion6909 makes just as much sense as 50% of things in comics. A female geneshifter became functionally male and impregnated another female, and Kurt was born. It's really that simple. All the rest is set dressing as to the precognitive reasons for manipulating the shape-shifter into replicating a specific man's genes (among others) to do the impregnation, and the other reasons to give him up and let him be raised as an X-Man.

@@bajansamurai Like i said before it still doesn't make any sense first off why does Kurt look like a demon instead of looking like destiny or the guy Mystique morph into it doesn't make sense there a thing called comic book logic and when writers don't follow this logic the character lore or the comic book it end up as dumb as Kurt new origin and with low sales take John kent for example why would writers make him gay when he just like his father are the last of there race it make no sense and dumb move on the writers part and Dc part as well and people wonder why his comic book sales aren't good this is what happen when writers don't follow comic logic they end up losing money

The one exception is the color of his fur not being red. Explainable both in actual real world genetics and in the comic explanation that it was a blue mutant simulating the red demon-looking original.

My dude, you can't make fun of people for bemoaning the end of the Krakoa and then turn around and complain about lack of diversity on the new teams. When people love the Krakoan era it has little to do with the island. It's the sense of freedom, the innovative ideas, the effort to get everyone a little screen time, and the expansive feeling. What people are sad about is the new editorial mandate for a forced nostalgia vibe, which leads directly to the overly white teams you hate.

So just some thoughts regarding the "Hope Sword", Makes sense that it's "Legion" or rather the sum total of his mutation. Which if you think about it is also the " SPARK" that Nightcrawler has been searching for. If Legion's " Omega" Mutation is unlimited Mutations and personalities then that's the perfect "Kindling" for the rebirth of the ability of the Phoenix. Here is the whole "Circuit" Jean as the Host or Focus of the Phoenix then Hope is able to not only replicate Legions mutation but amplify it through the sword that then is the SPARK that both kills and Re-Kindles the fire that is the Phoenix. This would make her a Devine mother or Messiah. Being both the End and the beginning of of the Phoenix so the the Midwife. Rachel is the connection so the Ability for the Phoenix to exist though all time as well. Though she is less involved outside being the Bridge to the White Hot room Telepathically. Hope (catalyst) Jean (form) Legion (Fuel) Rachel (timelessness)

I hate anything that says this thing can kill/end the phoenix. I hate it so much when writers forget that phoenix force is the sum total of all life in the multiverse and killing it means everything in existence dies. It's so stupid. As someone else said, Hope's only power is her mutant privilege that in reality Rachel should have. Cause she is literally the DAUGHTER of the phoenix! Hope has no linage to Jean grey & her being the one that "ends" phoenix is the most stupid statement I've ever heard.
