You have no idea how "Planty" are beautiful at summer :) One of the best parks I have been, such a climate to sit down on a bench with a book and to just chill.

Another fun video! Looking forward to your next video. Here are just a few other ideas for places to visit in and around Krakow: 1. There is a cafe on top of Sukiennice Cloth Market with an outdoor balcony.. . Great views of the market from up there. You can go there even if you don't eat at the cafe. Another vlogger, From LA to Krakow has a beautiful video posted a few weeks ago from up there. 2. There is a newly opened visitor's center on one of the corners of the Market Square. There was a szopki parade actually after you guys left and now the szopki are on display inside that visitors center. The detail is incredible. That same vlogger, From LA to Krakow has a video. And as another person mentioned in the comments, szopki are elaborate nativity scenes inspired but elements from Krakow's architecture. 3. One of the only remaining portrait paintings by Leonardo DaVinci, Lady with an Ermine is located inside the Czartoryjski Museum. You won't have to battle the crowds like those to see the Mona Lisa. 4. Cafe Noworolski in Sukiennice 5. Underground Museum under the market square. Some years ago they excavated part of the market that's underground these days, but used to be above ground. I think you enter the Museum from Sukiennice 6. The art museum in Sukiennice. Beautiful monumental paintings by Jan Matejko, one of the most famous Polish painters. Many paintings depicts important moments from Polish history. 7. Start Kleparz market right outside of old Town. Great place for fresh produce, but also a lot of wonderful prepared food that you can bring to your hotel to warm up. These are fresh delis, way better than supermarkets. 8. Grunwald Monument (battle from 1410; one of the biggest battles in the history of Europe when the Tectonic knights were defeated by the Polish/Lithuanian Commonwealth. 9. Retoryka Street has many beautiful and unique architecture by one of Krakow's most famous architects. The buildings have names such as "Under a Singing Frog." 10. Kanoniczna Street in the Old Town, beautiful and quiet leads to Wawel castle. 11. Jagiellonian University Museum.. Nicolaus Copernicus was one of the students.. The oldest known globe to show the New World is on display there 12. Kosciusko Mound, Krakow Mound and Pilsudski Mound. Sort of mystical places with great sunset views 13. Boat restaurants along Wisla River 14. Beautiful Wawel castle and the beautiful cathedral (don't miss the inside and the underground where Polish kings, queens and some other important people have there crypts) 15. Wawel Castle dragon. Look up the legend. There is a fire-breathing dragon statue 16. The vibrant food hall in the old Forum hotel across the river from Wawel Castle. Fun place to hang out. Hot air balloon rides are available, too. 17. Kazimierz, the Jewish quarter with many beautiful synagogues and cafes 18. The church you attempted to visit... just go through the main door to see the incredible stain glass windows 19. Go inside Saint Mary's church to view the famous altar (they open it at certain times). Wit Stwosz, the artist, based the faces of the statues on the actual Krakow residents of his time. These are just a few places of interest. Enjoy your time in Krakow. I'm jealous. Wish I could be there now.

I want you to go to restaurant U Stasi on Mikolajska. It's a people's restaurant tucked away from the main street. It's only open from 12-5 Monday to Friday. It's very small and frequented by pensioners. The food is to die for, menus in English, karczek, golabki and plum pierogi are superb. Very cheap too. It's as real as it gets. People will look at you but just smile.

Btw, did you guys see the Odetchnij w Gdyni, temporary structure in the market square? I think it's a 3-day happening. You can go inside and view/listen to the sea waves, seagulls etc. Sort of pretend you are at the Gdynia beach for a moment. I saw a quick video of it. Looks pretty cool.

Not sure if you guys like walking tours but, if you do, you should check out the old town and jewish quarters tours that walkative host (they have the yellow umbrellas). I take the tours every time I'm in Krakow (Wroclaw and Warsaw too), they've got a lot of different guides but theyre all great and the tours are inexpensive (or free if you dont want to pay). You'll learn a ton about Krakow from them, much more than you'd learn from the app. If you have time, I'd recommend taking a day or even half day trip to Czestochowa to check out Jasna Gora, there isn't much else to do there but worth going just to for that.

There is a museum under the Cloth Hall and the Market Square. Originally, the level of the Market Square was about 4 meters lower. They discovered it during the renovation of the surface of the Market Square. There you can see the original cemetery from before the 10th century, original road fragments and many other interesting things.

The first thing I noticed about Krakow was the beautiful women. One after another, just gorgeous. But I also remember the ghetto where they kept the Jews. It is such a small area, and you could almost feel the residual horror. Pleading for God's intervention, but no help coming. The helplessness, the hopelessness, the murder and evil. It was something to experience.

You can go to the top of that tower but you have to pay to go up, or do a Joe Mort and run past the women who collect the money😬😂
