new CFTP mechanic 2 patches ago makes this outdated/ineffective. not critiquing just updating anyone coming across this video!

@@aesthetic-ds2mt so not only have they made feinting more punishable overall, but the new CFTP mechanic detects and drains 35 stamina if successful. a third of your stamina for a single move, so relying on this will drain your 70% of your stamina within 2 moves.

There is a patch coming soon. Suppose to be mordhau 2.0 or some bs. Chftp is suppose to be removed to an extent idk the specifics. Hope it's good.

@@yodagaming I 100% agree. Idk what they're planning but the only defense besides footwork against these crazy drags and instant accels is chftp, especially with red parries, low tr servers. Cross our fingers this next patch isn't the end of mordhau. I hope it's positive.

cftp was so much better in earlier patches. a lot of times when I cftp now especially accels the accel goes through the chamber, mostly overhead accels; or a neutral will hit inbetween the chamber and the parry ( maybe its ping idk). maybe im just bad but it happens quite often so i only use cftp maybe once or twice in a duel now. thoughts?

they have continuously nerfed chamber timings to be very strict nowadays but preemptively chambering for accels (the whole point of cftp) will still give you some wiggle room to catch the accel within your chamber frames this gets thrown out the window if you have ping above 24, 32-56 ping is the danger zone for consistent failed chambers, anything above 64 ping you might as well forget chambering exists

This is a really good video! Also I realize we must be in similar ish timezones because I recognize some of those people you were dueling with! Not sure why people don't like chamber-feint-to-parry lol, people get so upset yet there is dumb stuff like pickles/cucumbers or those drags which are already in your body like in your vid. Also. Screw polearm animations.

Are these nasty polearm overheads similar to the ones you guys showed in the offensive techs videos? I'm wondering cause in that video you used horizontals but here it's overheads. My guess would be it's the same camera angle and foot work with just a different attack but I seriously have no clue Edit: Also big thanks, I always chamber-parried and thought that was cftp (don't asky why, I know there's literally the word "feint" in cftp).

those were just basic overheads, polearms really do just work like that its not hard to do either, simply aim at the opposite foot and look at the ground and drag it out to do a footdrag (right side aim at the left foot, left side aim at the right foot) the left sided overhead is probably one of the strongest animations in the game since the pole part will be inside your body and float there for 500ms before its dragged out in the duel clips i did sometimes throw a random overhead sweep tech but those arent related to the offensive tech video

I think he already did. it's essentially a horizontal fake accel drag looking down. since you look down it's in their camera and since it's fake accel it is even more in their camera until you have some God tier dragging it out

increase dpi and sensitivity to hit the turncap on the weapon otherwise its entirely using your feet and sprinting to move into or away from people faster some weapons you just flat out will feel like your swinging a brick and theres not really much you can do to swing faster (zwei/exec/polehammer)
