Kraton 8S Ripping Dirt in North Carolina

Just some highlights of my last 3 construction site bashes with the Kraton 8S.

What an awesome video Ed!!👊 Absolute killer rips and low backflips!! Those can be tricky and she did it with class!😱The jumps out of the pit were badass! That's a sweet bash area too and glad you're able to use it while you're down here! It's got some perfect lines and jumps! Gotta love the tacky red clay too of the South!😂It does make a HUGE mess if it's not dry. Sticks to the rigs like glue!💩You did put here through some paces and def. shows the overall durability of this rig!! BASH ON brother ED!😎💪🚀🤘🤘

Totally BADASS Bash brother Ed 😱!!!! That spot looks absolutely gnarly 👀. Those high speed floaters and flips were soooo SICK Bro. Massive ruts and boulders just upped the anti 🤗. I somehow missed this comment, Brother Rich. I've had a very hectic past 2+ months talking care of my mom. Sorry about that. The K8S was totally at home I'm those construction sites. Lots of room to really air it out. I need to find something like that back in CT. I really love the truck and how versatile it is. My next step is to try the new Castle ESC and their 800kv motor 😎👊👍

I'm really digging my Hobbystar 840kv 56112 with 34/34 gearing. It's a complete animal. No cogging or hesitation. Just raw power at all speeds with smooth low end even. 🍻

I'm leery of the Hobbystar motors. They don't seem to last that long and they always run hot. I'll have to catch up on your channel and see how it performs 😎👊👍 I'm sure it's a beast!

The strength of arms is very much depending on the temperature. In warm weather they aee probably way more flexible, whereas below a certain temp they will be also like glass. It's very similar to tyres on your car. Summer tyres get below temp they just lose all grip. Same in the summer if you run winter tyres they are like mush.

What Savox didn't work for you? I'm running the SW-0249MG and it works great even at only 6V. Also, I was the one who asked you about K8S motor on the forum, found out that the hobbywing 4985 is the exact same motor as the stock Firma just at 1650kv. I had one for my k6s, I put the K8S stock 15t pinion on it and it's faster and even wheelies better than stock motor with a 25t pinion.... Just thought I'd mention it in case someone else was looking, Chinese products are like like trying to find an elmo doll in 1996 nowadays.

@Jason GUNN Stock motor can handle a 23-25 but you have to be careful with the temps.
