Awesome truck, I can’t wait to get mine done. Talk with rich about the max 6 fan mod. You have to drill a hole in the center of the fan cover and put a m4 screw in so it will help with the fan flexing upwards and breaking the blades. Awesome video and super helpful

I can't wait to see the bash on this! I build the same style of XL too on my channel. I put the castle Mamba Monster X 8S with the 1717 motor in it. Running it on 8S is crazy though. 6S is a sweet spot with it for bashing. keep up the great work brother!.

I run xt90 on mine but eventually i might just go to qs8

For mine I just superglued some lexan to the switch and then screwed it into the mounting holes

Hobby wing stuff is amazing for bashers castle stuff is a bit more finicky with hard landings

Not sure if you fixed it off camera but before you put the body on you still didnt have the top part of the center diff bracing on, so the t2t brace wasnt enclosed from the top

Nice build can’t wait to see it out, with the pinion I’ve got the same electronics in my k6 exb on a 21t and in the Mojalian I’ve got a 20t . Loads of power , temps are good defo sweet spot.

That 4985 is a great motor. The 5687 is a whole other animal. It’s power is so linear and much more controlled then the 4985.
