@kairu_aname Жыл бұрын
@@lordderppington4694 Actually no. Records indicate up to a month without food. That's with protection from predators and other lions. Now, if those same lions stop getting fed, we assume they stop getting water as well. Assuming their time to die is just a tad longer than humans on the scale of food(comparing mammals), then assuming just a tad longer on the scale of water intake is reasonable. On that front it's around 3 to 4 days for humans generally. So assuming roughly a little longer for lions would be about 4 to 5 days. So weeks(at least two), for captured animals that have been fed and watered every day, would indeed kill them.

One of the things Ragnarok got so right is Kratos' emotional range. He has actual friends now, people he trusts, not just hate and a goal. And it shows: He's willing to reminisce on his homeland, is less laconic, cares more openly about people and things. Part of the reason the Norns segment is so impactful is it brings his character into sharp relief against the man he once was.
@squashmallow2006 Жыл бұрын
The best part is, he still maintains his stoicisms and discipline. But having said that, he's willing to still chill. Plus, he finally learned to be the type of man Atreus of Sparta was. Honestly these kinds of moments are why Christopher Judge was an inspired choice for post GOW3 Kratos. He exudes the kind of casual wisdom energy that fits a being as old and as beaten down as Kratos, able to express the breath of emotions that is also needed for a man who was rebuilding himself with a loving partner and now has been trying to keep that progress going with his son and the very select friends he has in his life.

It's these small interactions that I love more about Ragnarok than the last game. Everyone raves in the game about Atreus growing up but even Kratos changed a lot between games. He's still short with convseration and grunts when he answers, but he says thank you regularly to Brok and Sindri, and even calls Mimir brother right back. Compare to at the start of last game, all that mattered to him was spreading Fayes ashes and then heading right back home to brood

Funny enough, a lot of my friends wonder why I love stew so much, why I’m always craving stew, as they view it as nothing special I told them “Guys, I don’t crave just stew, I crave my dad’s stew, I’ve eaten stew made by other people before, and even though they’re using pretty much the same techniques and recipes, it’s just my dad’s stew is special, it’s got nothing to do with the food itself, it’s the person making it, my mom’s meat sauce for spaghetti isn’t anything special, but I prefer it to any other, my grandma’s chicken, mashed potatoes and corn or peas isn’t anything special, certainly not something that only she can make, but I like it best when she makes it, it’s not about the food, it’s about who’s making it” Funny thing too, is that when my little sister gets sick, we just have packaged chicken noodle soup, and even though my dad and I use the same methods, she always wants me to make it, she always wants me to make the soup, because according to her “When Logan makes it, it tastes better” Maybe the term “Made with love” is legit
