You are right about that. I really wonder how it's gonna end. I can see Petrosyan having an easy (but annoying) fight against Yuya and getting in the final without a lot of damage. And I can see Souwer and Buakaw destroying each other. When one of them gets in the final, they will be more tired than Petrosyan. Can't wait to see if my "calculations are right". Go Petrosyan!!!

a really really solid fighter.. no more than what he needs to do. He delivers solid combos and nice kicks [ even though i'd expect him to focus a little bit more on them given that his corner was shouting "gambe" which means legs ]. A really nice fight.

In my opinion it was part of the plan to fight Petrosyan with mainly boxing and stay close to him. Petr. has superior leg techniques, so try to neutralise them in an early stage and stay close to him and use your strongest weapons: for Kraus that are his fists. As far as I have seen all kicks from Petr. were blocked and Kraus was the most offensive fighter. Unfortunately for him Petr. can also punch and is at this stage a more complete fighter. Petrosyan-Kyshenko would have been a nice match...

@solmyr2 The difference between buakaw and yodsanklai is buakaw was never ranked a top fighter in thailand, he's one of the best k1 fighters but in thailand he is considered good but not one of the best. Yod is champion of nearly every stadium in thailand and is ranked highly. He now has started fighting internationaly but has not yet been given as much opportunites as buakaw has been. Yod wants to fight in k1 and maybe soon he will. We just have to wait and see.

Petrosyan is a very technical and good when facing fighters like kraus or masato but i dont think he would last with a fighter like yodsanklai or sanchai.

not true, back in 2002 when he won the k1 max, he used to kick as much as everyone. I even had the honor to sparr with him and get a hard kick in the chest from him right after he won the title. We are from the city and I still see him at least once a month. The next time I see him, I'm gonna ask why he keeps boxing all the time.

i think petrosyan has a fucking awesome guard.super tight.he really defence well combinations are stiff too.fast and strong.abit like souwers but hands down souwer combo is much better and effective

Kraus only boxing, I mean only boxing, thats it, come on man, I think if you are in the last 8 you must give more than messy punches. I like the petrosyan style and his humility, at least in the ring. We can`t say the same to the oppossite corner.

I've met both kraus and petro and petro was very nice and friendly where as kraus came off as a bit of an asshole. I want to see petro vs sato final which has epic written all over it.
