Hard to believe he is dead. He made a huge impact on me as a kid. Rest in paradise

He definitely did for me also, even though I cheered against him when he was fighting Genki Sudo. I was insanely lucky to actually sit on an empty JR subway in Tokyo across from him, his wife and his child (still in a stroller). What are the f*cking changes of that? My phone had 1% battery left, and I knew if I didn't get a picture, nobody would believe me lol. We had a great broken english/japanese conversation and he told me to tell the US fans to wish him the best in his next UFC fight. What an awesome guy. RIP Legend.

I got to meet Kid on the subway in Tokyo... It was one of the most bizarre moments ever. Him and his wife/gf with a baby stroller. One of the nicest guys ever, this was when he was getting older and in the UFC. What a legend.
