When I first played BO1 (a few weeks after release), my big critique with shotguns was that they just suck on high rounds. As I used more guns, I realized it’s just a problem with all BO1 weapons. Even the best weapons (except most wonder weapons, obviously) lose almost all effectiveness past round 40. Edited for grammar, and to add that my highest round on Kino without using traps is 52, and that was 20 minutes of running around with an M16 and repeatedly dumping mag after mag into a horde in hopes of a max ammo before I gave up and resorted to the traps.

@@dankmctwist6575 I’ve avoided most BO1 high rounds BECAUSE I hate trap strats. I’ve done round 100 on Moon, Kino and Shang only because they have reasonably powerful wonder weapons. I just personally find running in circles waiting on cooldowns isn’t as thrilling as doing the killing.

Too bad all the BO1 maps only have one wonder weapon for the whole party; it makes public matches suffer a lot combined with the awful gun damage, since one player would be given the “get out of jail free” card while everyone else was forced to suffer (or just ragequit in a few cases lmao).

the dog rounds on waw don't add to the zombie hp so every time there is a dog round on waw the zombies health don't increase for that round so technically he was on round 50 but the zombies hp were around round 38-40 hp

Fun fact about the argus, its actually faster to reload after each shot (if you have fast mags and speed cola) than it is to rechamber a round with the lever

Hey KrazyRabb1t, how’s your day going so far. I got some great news for you. I made it to round 80 on Revelations. I used the Thunder gun for margwas and panzers, the Apothicon Servant for round clear, lil arnes for perks, the Dg4s for the end of the round when there are a few zombies left, and widows wine and power vacuums and ammo gobble gums. I primarily trained in the spawn room.

What they failed to include into PC BO-1 shotgun mechanic is the "Points per pellet". The mobile version of the game did that and it made me wanted to use shotguns even on high rounds because it was a solid point builder since it could penetrates and basically all the pellets do count 10 points for each.

The Trench Gun and The Stakeout are the same statistically, however, the Stakeout shoots slightly quicker and also reloads slightly quicker. It won’t seem like it though due to the WaW health system being altered compared to the health in Bo1 and Bo2.

So fun fact about the Gallo-12 in Cold War. When Pack-a-Punched it becomes the H-NGM-N which is a play on Hangman, hence the missing A’s. It’s called this because the place criminals would be hung is called “The Gallows”.

When I first played WAW zombies with no DLC so only base may. And I played only like 2 years ago(I know late to the game) but I used 3 mains weapons on later waves(not high by most standards like wave 10) but I use the trench gun,flamethrower, and alien blaster(I think that it's name but you know what I'm talking about) and the trench gun was a saving grace for me on that map

Additional Note on The Sawed DB Shotgun (WAW) It was planned to be in Der Riese as well as it does have a scrapped Pack-A-Punch version called 'The Snuff Box". However, its stats were identical to that of the 24 Bore Long Range, so it was eventually scrapped as it was kind of pointless to have 2 DB shotguns that did the exact same thing both when normal and pack-a-punched.

The Remington 870 in BO2 was like the poor man's ray gun up till about you hit the mid 20's. Easily a goated option after you pack-a-punch. Turned everything you aimed at into pink mist. I know it's not a shotgun l, but the DSR-50 was absolutely amazing as well once you get double tap, PAP and get those iron sights.

Actually, the WAW double barrel sawed-off was cut from Der riese and you can also have it on you by accessing it from mods and you can also pack a punch it, and it will be called the snuff box I think it does the same pack a punch ability as the regular double barrel does I think

I'd say that the reason the 1216 is slept on in Zombies is due to its performance in Multiplayer. Ask anyone and it'll come up in their top 3 worst guns in what is otherwise probably the most balanced weapon sandbox in CoD history (along with the Executioner).

You should give Cold War a try with old school rules. No ammo crates. Single pack. 4 perks. Can use side EEs for free perks. Tier 1 armor only. No Field Upgrades. Then it isn’t so easy.
