I like that you throw the little stories along the way & the pic of you & Millie is classic ! I tried guessing along with you , but that was blown out of the water at the point you held up Coma Of Souls lol , Material World Paranoia & People Of The Lie are some of my favourites , you did say great album ! I’m pleasantly surprised at your #1 , I think they’ve killed it on these past 5 albums , Sami is a great addition to the band , his lead work is phenomenal , just listen the solo on the song Gods Of Violence ! Great video 🤘 Hail To The Hordes 🤘

Yeah once we get to the top 10 not much in it. Always preferred them to Slayer and I think that's been the idea. European Slayer. Let's hope they put out a new one in 2021.
@bschuler62163 жыл бұрын
Material World Paranoia is my favorite song off of Coma Of Souls, along with the title track! I rarely ever go back to listen to Gods Of Violence. My expectations are not super high for Kreator's next album. Sodom's Decision Day from 2016 has become my favorite thrash album of the past 20 odd years, just edging out Enemy Of God. But Genesis XIX, with the new lineup, is quite a bit lower in my estimation. We'll see what all these old Germans come up with next🤘

Really enjoyed this video, Kreator are one of my favorite bands. My introduction to the band was with Extreme Aggression, I was hooked instantly. Like many others, I’m not a big fan of the 90’s stuff either. Nice to you back on the heavier side for a change of pace.

I’m also in complete agreement about Endless Pain being surely a more influential album than it has ever been given credit for!! I am shocked at where “Coma Of Souls” landed in your list tbh!! Great video mate, really enjoyed it. Love hearing your personal stories attached to the albums!! “Extreme Aggression” is my No1!🤘🏻

Just found your channel recently. Love this ranking, geezer! You're spot on with a lot of your opinions here. My ranking is somewhere between you & Jürgen. I definitely rate Terrible Certainty a bit higher than you. Wow! Enemy Of God at number 1! It is a great, great album. I rate it at #3, I believe, because Pleasure To Kill will always be my #1. You & Jürgen both rate Extreme Aggression way higher than I do. But I wasn't listening to Krearor at that time, so I have no nostalgia for it. Maybe that's why. I do appreciate your appreciation for Phantom Antichrist. Though far from thrash, this is just a well done album. For me, I think: 7. Extreme Aggression 6. Coma Of Souls 5. Endless Pain 4. Phantom Antichrist 3. Enemy Of God 2. Terrible Certainty 1. Pleasure To Kill

I don't believe that a person has to own the entire band's discography in order to talk about it. As long as they've heard it more than once, that's what counts. One difficult thing for me is choosing between Kreator and Sodom because I love both of them so much. Kreator's lyrics resonate with me more, but Sodom's tunes resonate with me more than Kreator's tunes. It's difficult. My favourite three Kreator albums are Pleasure to Kill, Terrible Certainty, and Gods of Violence. Thanks for making this video. It's really hot here, too. Stay well, mate. 🤘🤘🤘

Yeah I agree with you there. Well I've spent many hours listening to Kreator lol. Now Sodom. I really don't care for them. I own nothing but I've had Persecution Mania and Agent Orange as a kid and they were OK but not heard them for years.

I have Cause for Conflict but can't say it was at all memorable for me, the other 2 from the 90's are similarly unknown to me, not sure if I have them even. I really like Renewal after initially thinking "what the hell is this" it really grew on me. I am surprised that album and tour flopped, I never heard that before, I am sure their gig from that tour was packed in London. It was a long time ago now so I may well be remembering wrong. I don't really do rankings myself so won't argue on yours, I'll just say good job working out your ordering and will say that their positives far outnumber their negatives for me. Haha great, I'm not a 12-song guy either. That's my main problem with the older bands' newer releases. In the 80' they were restricted to 30-35 minutes and had to be selective, now they just throw everyting on and release one hour of music that could have been filtered down to 30-35 of quality. 1. Extreme Aggression 2. Coma of Souls (basicly EA 2.0) 3. Pleasure to Kill 4. Terrible Certainty The rest I'm not really sure how to rank.
