I think that servers which have p2w items that affect gameplay should give people an option if they want to go to servers in which people buy the in game stuff or servers in which people don't p2w. There could be a thing where the game tracks your robux spent in it, to make this work better. An example can be, if I were to join blade ball, there would be a popup asking me if I want to go to a p2w server or a server in which people don't p2w. Or it puts me in the server automatically, or something.

well if your f2p, yes. if you have robux to spend, then no. if your pay to win, the game is fun and easy. if you f2p then its hard and not really fun due to the grind. But the devs will probably put some sort of compensation, like arm wrestle sim and pet sim x, where if you are f2p, you get rewards for completing a quest. So it really just depends on what side you are on. Edit: Still even in most p2w games, there is still some sort of gambling where you buy eggs with robux to get a limited pet. And there are probably more things in that game where you have to gamble to get some sort of limited pet or whatever it is in the game.

in my opinion, selling gamepasses for robux is not so bad but u have to make it available for other people too so they can also get the gampasses after some point, completing quests or from in game currency. but games like bloxfruits though give most of items free but having fruit notifier, darkblade, 2x money, exp ,perm fruits, + fruit storage gives a huge advantage to pay to win players while free to play players have a hard time. I mean u can have gamepasses but there must be a way to get the gamepasses for free to play players.

As a small developer who has made a good amount of money from roblox without using pay to win, I think that developers have plenty of options to make money without requiring users to pay to win. I mostly do stuff similar to MM2, by making you most likely have to pay in order to get different skins and effects. A regular player with a starting item could beat up someone with a paid for item. I think that most other developers that use p2w should make the switch to "pay to customize". Basically, you pay for stuff that customizes different parts of the game. Simple, and as shown in the fortnite example in the video, it still works really well.

I'd also like to point out games that do a good job at getting payment (robux) while also appealing to mostly players with no robux. Example, Evade. I've been playing evade for a long time now and it's apparent that you don't have to pay robux to have fun. Most of the robux that the creators earn is through donations that are advertised through the game and avatar items that players can buy for their avatars. I've seen so many people have fun playing it without paying anything, and at the same time the creators get decent payment.

My opinion on Pet Sim X is 1.i literally hate it so much because they keep updating ok whenever I'm at the last or the second last areas 2. I know pet sim x has to update to keep the game alive but why on the day when I'm at the last areas 3. This pay to win isn't only happening to Roblox, it has been happening in Minecraft also for quite a while. Minecoins in MineCraft cost real money, and you can't get them any other way. People spent real life money for something they don't really need for Avatars in Minecraft, to me Avatar's don't really matter anywhere. Pay to win simulator games are not ruining roblox, this is how the platform is. The vast majority of the playerbase are children that these games cater towards. It is more profitable for developers to make a simulator game with a bunch of gamepasses then to craft a high quality unique game with a lot of passion and time behind it, FAR more profitable and significantly easier. People who want to make quality games without the aspect of general roblox games will still make them because they are passionate about it, unless roblox fundamentally changes as a platform in its monetization, simulators and p2w gamepass spamming games will never go away. All that being said, it's not ruining the platform its actually very easy to just not play those games because there are still plenty of actually good games on the site made by developers who care about their work and want to make a quality product.

And I don't really find that fair because rich people can win easily meanwhile players either not allowed to buy robux or don't have enough to pay for robux very often cant make progress. Well p2w is runing it sometimes with some games like bloxfruits you can get all the stuff p2w players can darkblade trading perm fruits trading fruit notifer trading all robux stuff trading some you can't like refund stats but you can buy them with fragments from raids seabeasts or chests from mirage island so overall p2w ruins some games

This game kinda came out of nowhere and managed to surpass piggy but it contained pay to win so technically piggy is the first game with out pay to win while blade ball is the first with pay to win kinda?
