I appreciate your video seeing how I didn't get a manual. Thank you.

Glad you enjoyed it. You can also get a PDF manual on Kreg's website if you want one.

Nice! I just ordered a 520 Pro AND 720....everything I'll need and it certainly didn't break the bank. 520 for versatility and 720 for "fixed" applications that need long board support. Great Video. Yes, I subscribed🙂

Thanks Darren, we love having both the 520 and 720. We use them each for different things! Glad you enjoyed this video and thanks for subscribing! Let us know if there's anything specific you'd like to see in a future video.

You weren't kidding about the sliding thickness adjustment being hard to move--I was struggling!

Yes, it gets easier the more you use it!

One thing I never see addressed is the fact there's no setting on the jig or on the drill bit/collar for use with 5/8" thick wood. I'm only guessing, just use the 3/4" settings instead?
@MakingManzanita Жыл бұрын
Good question! If your material thickness falls between 3/4" and 1 1/2" range you'll want to use the same setup techniques as 3/4" with a 1 1/2" screw.

Nobody shows how this works on a piece of plywood screwing it into a 1x4 where you have to make numerous pocket holes.

That clamp Table looks like an overpriced POS, lol. Waaayyyy more than needed and pretty pricey

I definitely love it, but love it more for the fact that it's a nice clean and flat workspace that is on wheels in our workshop. We typically use it to clamp our 720 Pro to it when drilling pocket holes because our other workbench is too thick of a surface to have the pocket hole jig clamped down to the bench. We only use the clamps on the clamp table when doing face frames, which is pretty rare for us. I also love the bottom part of the table because we built a customized tool organizer to keep all of our Kreg stuff organized so that part is nice too (you can check it out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bne8oYOZpttkisU) But yes, the clamp table part is only really useful if you do a lot of face frames.
