Technically a lot of this is MIDI and not chiptune, but still good overall.

In general, in the minds of most people I talk to chiptune is anything that "beeps or boops", has been made in a tracker or made to emulate those environments, and doesn't have recorded vocals. (Also, most anything can be made into a midi) ;)

Do you do some of your own mixing in these? because some of the songs sound like they have a bit more depth and better mixing in general than their soundcloud counterparts

Sometimes there is a huge difference in volume and I adjust it. Then render it all into 320kbps. Also I suspect that soundcloud plays music at 128kbps but if download button is available, it contains the original song with original bitrate and quality. I may be wrong though.
