The 25 mW doesn't look much different than 200 or 350 mW. In fact without the power meter I wouldn't have believed it changed power levels.

@@samuelevinti I mean he did measure it with RF power meter. I didn't see go above 30 .. maybe I misses that part? It seems like this thing is heated limited to about 250mw so you might as well just set it on 25mW to make it stay cooler, or put it to 200mW if you really want to get that extra power out of it, like they said, its already good enough that its basically perfect on 25mw and everything above it is basically just the same. This test was done in a nice open area without too much interference though.. That's where the VTX power really comes in handy, so it doesn't get knocked out by a stronger signal in the area for something random.. I just picked one of these up though because its so compact, still cheap, and it has a MIc which is cool. I want to experiment with that and see how that works with my fatshark goggles and Rapid fire module. But just for the compact size alone and lightweight, this is basically perfect for anything but a bigger Long Range Build lol. I guess at that point, theres the big one, Rush Tank VTX! I also like the TBS Unify Pro32 HV, but they are alittle expensive. However they just work great and have a MIC too if thats something that matters. Just a bonus for me.. An analog 720p30 DVR would be nice like my old Diamond 350mw VTX which was from a Tinywhoop lol. It weighed 7g with the SD card slot and a UFL connector Idk if you can still get them or if its worth it, but not much to replace a nice Analog 720p SD DVR & VTX combo, with a Mic or Audio input..

Looks great. I bought a Darwinfpv Baby Ape but the VTX is really bad. On "200"mw I get worse range than normally with 25mw, and the 25mw is basically 0mw. So I thought about getting an antenna but just getting a new vtx will have a much greater effect right? So in conclusion, would you rather get a new vtx and use it with the dipole, or old vtx with proper antenna? (Probably gonna get both but I have spent too much already and flown too little)

I know this was a year ago, but I recently swapped out my vtx for an all fx3 ultimate (near identical size and fit) and it's a might and day difference. The original vtx was greatly helped by a proper cloverleaf/lollipop antenna but was short lived after the ufl connector snapped off in a crash lol.

Hi, did you turn on the VTX Low power disarm feature? If so, only after arming your drone the higher power option will be in use.

@@KremerFPV @ :52 i noticed that the device wasn't ready in betaflight, I had to switch the figures for label and value and install the standard tramp vtx table as the vtx table from hglrc didn't work

They had an error in the user manual which I've already told HGLRC about after getting the VTX - the value and label were switched (350 and 400), but I just checked and the VTX table is correct.
