Brazil rejected the BRICS memberships of Nicaragua and Venezuela. Apparently India rejected the BRICS membership of Turkey. Seems like a case of “dead on arrival “. There’s also the talk of layers or tiers of membership. Who needs that? Maybe Turkey with its 60 year long experience waiting at the door of EC and EU has the thick face and the stamina to be slapped repeatedly and rejected while insisting to join where it isn’t wanted.
