Saquon Barkley was forced to run behind one of the worst lines in the league and on one of the worst fields for 6-7 seasons. now he gets to play on natural grass and run behind not only the best O-line but also the largest line in all of the NFL. I'm happy a player with his talent finally has a chance to prove just how great he is. I'm still angry about the Lions wasting the careers and talent of players like Calvin Johnson and Barry Sanders

I agree teams like the Giants and Detroit who can't or haven't been able to recognize great talent, is a damn shame. Not realizing a few more peices around them would have made them formidable against their opponents....

Saquon is a freak of nature. Best player in the NFL right now. Bench pressed 455lbs as a 19 year old sophomore (youngest to ever do that in school history - only two players, both seniors and both offensive linemen that weighed over 300lbs - have ever put up more (465lbs and 475lbs). Squatted 650lbs in college as a sophmore (by his.own estimation, he could have squatted more weight). Set a Penn State University school record for Power Clean at 405 lbs at 19 years old. He was the state champion in the 100M dash. Freak of nature. Super fast and Super strong. Fastest 40 yard dash for a RB 230lbs or more in NFL Combine history. Higher vertical than Julio Jones, more bench press reps at 225lbs than Joe Thomas, faster 10 yard dash than Devin Hester, oh and he set the NFL record for most receptions by a rookie RB in NFL HISTORY. He's top 3 RBs of my lifelime. Barry, AP, and Saquon.

As a true legend well respected , by many if it was me I would at least said yes , there is a possibility that the young man may break my record " " and that records are made to be broken," " That in my opinion is being Humble " I truly hope Sequan breaks his record, and that the Eagles Offensive line try their best to make it Happen, he deserves it......Lets make " History ". 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Good video, I love that we were able to get him to Philly! Awesome person and equally as great as a player for the Eagles. He may be the biggest variable in our getting a second Lombardi trophy. I am fully aware that Dallas has 5, the Giants have 4 and the Washington team has 3 Lombardi trophies. All of which I have had to live with since I became an Eagles fan in 1968. And that isn’t all San Francisco has what? 5 Green Bay has 4 and across the state, Pittsburgh has 6 up I95 New England has 6, and Baltimore has 2 just an 1 1/2 hour drive to our south. We don’t really know what the future will bring but I am enjoying the moment. The regular season is hard enough but getting to a Lombardi Trophy is even tougher. And the AFC has at least 3 different teams that are extremely talented.

When Derek "Shocka" Henry says he's the best, you'd better believe it. I've been watching Saquon jump defenders and break loose from the pack since HS. He was maxing out weights at Penn States' new fitness complex, leaving even linemen in awe what he was squatting. I am a Nitney Lion, Giants fan, but most of all, a Barkley fan. Whoever isn't happy to see him finally get his do [due] is emotionally detached from reality. God made Saquon for this moment, and his time is now. Another player, the Giants brass, seemed to undervalue Xavier McKinney, who leads the league in INTs. As my NY Giants do some soul searching, Barkley will continue to be at his best because he has intrinsic motivation without influence.

Saquon Barkley was the Greatest Steal In The NFL, Eagles got him from a Divisional Rival Giants, and the Aints just gave him away saying Jones The Quarterback and Not Barkley was the GiAnts answer. Well they gave Barkley away, and fired Their QB Jones, and Jones was good just not good enough. Who is good enough when your offense of line can’t block anyone! Still they can’t Block Anyone. Now Barkley has an Offense of Line with the Eagles, Now we all know, Saquon is Amazing! He’s made everyone look stupid, and it’s not the defenders, they can be right in front of him, he can jump over you, he can run over you, he can throw you to the ground with a stiff arm, he can spin out of your tackle, even jump backwards over you. Pick your highlight, he can also catch the ball an do all the same things I mentioned above, so he’s a human highlight reel.

Think they didn't think he was worth what he was asking for. He wasn't super effective in his later years with the giants and struggled with some injuries. Kind of similar to what happened with Derrick Henry and somewhat with CMC, although at least the panthers got some draft picks for him. Even if he resigned with the giants, I find it highly unlikely he'd be having anywhere close to the same success. But they should've tried to trade him for some draft capital instead of letting him walk and get nothing.
@landenf9
@landenf9 Ай бұрын
They didnt trade him they just didnt bring him back, and honestly they shouldnt have. A RB like that only makes sense for a team that is fundamentally well built; good QB, good oline, and decent defense. The Giants have proven that they cannot build a good oline/defense or find a good QB
@tigerwoods373
@tigerwoods373 Ай бұрын
@@landenf9 good o line, I agree with. Good defense? Not really. Ravens have a terrible defense but getting Henry was a great move. Qb doesn't really matter too. Either you get an elite rb to help a struggling qb out or supplement them. It has to fit the coaching philosophy, plays being made to capitalize on their ability. The threat of a run can be just as much as a deep pass. Without the good line, it's just a waste of money. Remember how much the jets spent on bell and ended up cutting him. Although I'm not entirely sure who should get most the blame there, the coach, line or bell.

It’s a shame that Saquon wasted all of those years with the Giants….I hope he stays healthy and plays well into his 30’s…he could quite possibly become the greatest rusher of all time

Just getting into football. But what position is not considered high risk for a top pick? Just QB? Stupid if u ask me like i understand a kicker or punter n maybe OL but RB seems like the most used offensiveline player. Definitely not a stretch pick right?!?!?

His real true talent is being exposed for what it really is. The fantastic player that he is. He is surprising himself because even he doesn't know what he is capable of. Yet to be seen I see a bright future for him and I'm glad to be a part if it. A true eagles fan I'm anxiously waiting to see him shock the world
