I am a life long Giants fan. My family and I attended an event for service member’s at the Super Bowl in Miami. He is a class act. He spent time with my son, took pictures, and was very generous with his time. The Giants made a mistake in letting him go. My father is extremely reluctant in praising athletes for anything but their game. However, he had the opportunity to meet Saqoun and his family, and he has the highest praise for this man. He treated my father with respect and wanted to know more about my dad than to talk to about himself. The Giant fans should be booing the owners and the management. I don't have a problem with fans booing, but keep that same energy when it comes to other players and their performance on the field.

Saquon is an elite once in a lifetime generational talent. I gave up my Giants season tickets when they traded him away to the Eagles. They (the Giants), squandered all of his talents and gifts. He was Mr. Do it all for them. He’s the reason Daniel Jones received the contract he did. I’m completely overwhelmed with gratitude and joy to see him lighting the league on fire in Philly. I will always root for him in whatever uniform he dons. I think the fact that Saquon is just as phenomenal on the field as he is in the locker room gets lost in the discussion. Teams and fans these days are not only looking for the phenomenal athlete on the field. They’re also looking for a good human being off of it. The Giants miss out on a phenomenal person. Their loss. Thanks to the Pivot team for another great one!! Awesome show!!!❤❤❤

Eagles were keeping an eye on Saquon during draft cuz we were looking for a RB that year too. His ceiling was just way too high and we couldn't reach him before others would
@MIAPhilly2 ай бұрын
When the Eagles signed Saquon i saw people going nuts and buying gear and just being what i categorize as "extra" about him. I said "for what, he hasn't touched a single ball as an Eagle, we don't know what he will do or be for our team". Let me tell you this.... after these 6 games and that mic'ed up, i have a huge respect for this brotha. He has embraced the team, become a core part of the offense, and shown himself to care more about the teams success over his own. THIS is an example of what makes a great player and person. I will have my Saquon gear soon and i wish this brotha nothing but success and happiness with our organization.
@Tony_9402 ай бұрын
Bro do you even watch ball? He didn’t need to play 6 games for anyone to know he was going to play well on the eagles. Dude played injured on a team with a backup QB for most of the year with one of the worst oline and still almost had a 1000 yard season. This is why people trash your fan base cause yall be doing too much hating lol
@MIAPhilly2 ай бұрын
@Tony_940 i think by that statement you don't really watch ball. Have you not seen countless players that look horrible on one team and like a star on others? There's so much more to it than just ability alone. Scheme Meshing well with coaches/ players Past injuries Hot/cold weather states How many targets you get Etc..... the list goes on Look at Nick Foles, he never ever played as well as he did anywhere other than in that Eagles uniform. He broke all kinds of records in Philly then other teams were like "based on that we want you" , then he never looked the same. Then he comes back to Philly and beats Tom Brady and the evil empire at it's BEST. Saquon was indeed talented, but that doesn't always translate to results. You gotta wait and see what a player does before putting your confidence in them based off past performances.
@Tony_9402 ай бұрын
@@MIAPhilly bro you’re literally an eagles fan bringing up Nick Foles. Foles had one good full season as an Eagle but outside of that Super Bowl/playoff run he never played consistently and well rnough to be regarded as one of the top players in the league. The only reason teams took a chance on him after was because of that outlier Super Bowl run and performances he put up.
@Libras6662 ай бұрын
🤡🤡🤡
@MIAPhilly2 ай бұрын
@Tony_940 clearly never saw Nick before that year in Philly.... CLEARLY. tied the NFL record for consecutive completions when he completed 25 passes against the Washington Redskins. Foles set the Eagles' franchise record for passing yards in a game with 471. Foles' 2013 passer rating of 119.2 is the fourth-highest in NFL history. (2013 will before the 2017 Super Bowl run) Foles' touchdown percentage of one TD every 11.7 attempts is the 12th-highest in NFL history. Foles' interception percentage of one every 159 attempts is the third-best in NFL history. But he's the example I used because yea I'm a diehard Eagles fan for nearly 50 years. There are countless players in sports in general that ball on one team and underperform on others. Like I said, you gotta wait and see on folks.
