Yeah I am a proper convert now to the soft/semi rigid stuff. Although on an only road based tour I would still take lockable solid boxes. They are super convenient. But deffo not on a trail.

Bonjour mon ami ! Désolé pour la réponse tardive car j'ai été absent de YT. Cependant, je suis heureux d'avoir de vos nouvelles. Et on dirait que tu t'éclates avec le SDR Evo. J'ai failli en acheter un récemment ! Ils sont en promotion ici. Mais j'ai décidé de ne pas le faire parce que les conditions météorologiques et routières ici n'en valent pas la peine pour cette moto. Le Royaume-Uni est plus un pays de moto d'aventure (routes en mauvais état). Bonne continuation Ric

Hi Ric, I have just bought the same luggage for my SAR. They look awesome. Do you think a touratech toolbox would fit on the pannier rack okay or will the OS Platform be hindered by the tool brackets? It doesn’t look like you’ve attached yours so wondering if it won’t work okay. Cheers Lee

Hiya Lee! I don’t think they will fit. The plates are adjustable but to get them to fit right I don’t think it will work with this setup. I can say for sure as I sold mine recently sorry. But looking at the position of the plates in the pannier mount I would put money on it and say no (but maybe wrong)

Hi Rik, I have the 2023 1290 SAS. I have been looking for some luggage that doesn't require the fitment of the mounting frames that stick out so much either side of the bike. Have you come across anything that might fit the bike? Many thanks.

Hello matey! Well to honest the only rackless luggage I would buy (And I still might). Is the Mosko Moto Reckless luggage. Check them out. Apart from that I dont like much of the other rackless luggage kits. The only alternative is the KTM plastic hard luggage (panniers). They use a rackless mount so when you take the panniers off it leaves the bike as if there is no obvious mounts. Hope that helps. Cheers Ric
