hi there - would this fit an alienware 15 inch laptop? its a little wider than a normal 15 inch

hi, short answer: I believe it can fit an Alienware 15inch laptop. I don’t have an Alienware laptop - looking at the specs it’s 34mm thick and 385mm in length. The macbook is 360mm in length and max 20mm thick. I managed to squeeze two stacked macbooks (so 40mm thick) - they fit, but it’s quite snug. As for the length of the laptop you should be ok, there’s a palm length of room (the rollable top).

That’s amazing! My concern was the depth @ 274mm? Dimensions are Height (rear): 26.15 mm (1.02 in.) Height (peak): 26.95 mm (1.06 in.) Width: 357.26 mm (14.06 in.) Depth: 274.52 mm (10.80 in.) Thank you so much - the bag looks amazing

the water resistant removable pocket lining is around 30cm wide x 50cm tall. The part sticking out over the top zippers (rolling part) is 16cm tall (that rolls 2/3 times to reach the clasp). Seems like a 36cm laptop might fit, maybe stretch a bit above the zippers (i doubt you’d notice)

When you expand the backpack, is it still waterproof one the sides?

Only the back roll top pouche is waterproof. The rest of the bag, including the main pocket which is expandable is only water resistant.

@@Doulke I had the same assumption, so it's 99% perfect. But again when it rains cats and dogs I intend to stop driving and find a shelter
