Really interesting that they've added functionality vs the Max28, it's not just an aesthetic variation. I think you've undersold the sissy bar strap as well - that should be a reasonable option for securing the bag to your passenger seat using a rear rack or passenger handles etc.

Totally agree. IF you have a sissy bar, that strap is clutch. If you don't though, its just a nice bag.

I have the ROAM 34 bag and attach it to the Sissy bar of my Fat Boy. There's a loop in each of the straps on the front that you can run an extra tie down through if you want which I sometimes have to do if the bag is super full. I've had it on the bike up to 80 mph and never had an issue. It stays very snug and there are clips to keep the straps from flapping around. I also use the front flap for sunglasses. Just an awesome bag. Super super happy with the function and the style of this bag. Highly recommend!
