Well the orcs, yes, the Kriegsmen fight the way they do to attone for the sins of their forfathers.

Half of them grown in a vitae womb that probably accelerated their fetal development, another half of them are the result of Krieg woman being given drugs to make themselves breed faster and a lot more frequent. Yeah I would see how that would result in an entire planet of people with little to no sentiment toward human life in it’s entirety. It’s like India and China but the rate is octupled even further, even in those country you can see how disregarded human life are, now imagine Krieg. Although with that saying, the novel Siege of Vraks, which is the pinnacle of Krieg’s potrayal, shows that the Krieg are in fact human, and contrary to popular memes, they do NOT like to pointlessly and senselessly die a purposeless death. Give it a read, it has so many sides to it, the political side, the clogged bureaucracy of the Imperium that slow things down rather than helping, the elitism, how the Administratum and their billions of scribes function to calculate the needs of a particular war, how the Imperial branches argue on what to do and what not to do based on their own personal agenda, how an organisation avoid responsibility, and you can see how basically at the end of the day, the Imperium is selfish.

What is sometimes forgotten is that beyond the hilarity of the Orks they are terrifying, massive hulking beasts armed with some truly horrifying weapons, hell there's a reason Yarrick took the klaw of the warboss he killed.

i dont like how many pieces of media show the kriegsmen as dying like flies to take out enemies. The lore says that kriegsman are all about self sacrifice, thats true, but they've got a legendary endurance to back it up. The enemy usually dies before them

​@@vlanson6529 Not exactly. This was a trailer for kill team initially. And lemme tell ya, in the table top, guardsmen aim sucks almost as bad as their leadership stat. That usually why there's so many of them though, they're walking shotguns.

If you look up the lore of its power, it would theoretically be able to kill an M1 Abrams in a few shots, it's just everything else in 40k is so ridiculously more powerful

The kireg are really an example of just how disposable imperial equipment is. The Krieg Guardsmen die in ridiculous numbers. Always wondered how they manage to keep all their soldiers equipped
