WoD Was simplistic and extremely alt friendly. BFA and SL are jacked up with systems designed to keep you logged in as long as possible. They are not designed to be enjoyable. WoD atleast was enjoyable in terms of leveling and endgame was fun in Tanaan. And leveling alts was actually a fun thing. Unlike now.

WoD was actually the last time i had fun in WoW. Mid legion i quitted to FF14. I got hyped for SL.. well i got robbed.

I have actually enjoyed the only solo content in BfA wich were the Horrific Vision runs and finished both of them with a prot warrior, 5 masks, no deaths. I wish there were more stuff to do like this, where I can just challenge my class knowledge and not be bound by class restrictions in mythic+ runs and mythic raid compositions.

I'm still doing BfA WQs and emissaries for gold and i kinda like it. I know it's an odd opinion, but i actually enjoy that about BfA. Besides, i haven't started playing SL yet, having a struggle deciding on a class and the fact that endgame content is lacking, an hour of content at best, which is a bit sad, especially with covenants being gutted to nothingness and everything being timegated.

I had quit WoW end of Legion due to.....reasons....and came back in 8.3. Spoke with guildies and they told me all the stuff I'd have to do to keep up to date. I almost tapped out then lol. I then saw what had been done with the story and could not *fathom* how Blizzard writers decided to shove all of the stuff about Azshara and N'zoth into a patch each! I could easily see, from my perspective anyway, how they could have made 6+ years of content by sticking solely with faction conflict with BfA, then move to hints about naga and azshara, 2 years of that and *then* have that lead to the old gods and N'zoth. The Legion story, which I started the game in, got me reading up on all of the lore of previous expansions and there were a few places where I had a heap of question marks and wondering were any loose ends going to be tied up (looking at you WOD. What's going on with Yrel, hah?) but BfA was just.......jeez. Such a mess. I played a wee bit of Shadowlands and although I was having fun, the story just ain't doing it for me and I don't feel as attached to the game anymore. I let my game time run out and keep up with news via youtube and chatting with guildies but I keep feeling like we were cheated out of something brilliant with how everything rushed into Shadowlands. I dunno....maybe it's because Metzen left and the old lore was his stuff and Ion's baby is the Shadowlands and the void.... Love your vids too, man. Keep them coming.

Then you're missing out on the awesomeness that is shadowlands. You should know new expansions are new games and past expansions dont define them. If I were you I would play it abit to see if you like it. Covid is everywhere so yeah.

100% would play wod over bfa. I sat down to play bfa and was like "holt sht, this is awful" wod in the endgame may have been bad but at least it's leveling was pretty fun, bfa on the other hand sucked in every single way.

Unpopular opinion: WoW was at no point truly bad or unplayable. There were surely ups and downs, but it always worked. Bonus: Classic and BC were not the holy grail people make them out to be. Now excuse my while I go hide behind this bulletproof glass! XP

Right ngl this pisses me off. You didnt HAVE to do all the dailies. Infact all i really did was my M+ chest every week. In WoD there was no content at the end of it. In Legion we had a few months with no content. So Blizz gives you content and you still moan? A lot of people have been moaning about the fact theres too much to do? Im glad BFA is over too because it felt grindy due to the way the azerite system worked but dont complain about the fact theres too much content when a few years ago you were complaining there was none. Thats my opinion feel free to moan at me.

Why would I do that? It's your opinion, and you're free to have it. No need for hostilities, and no need for an opinion about a game "piss you off", either. All WoW players experienced BfA differently, and we all feel the way we feel about it, but please. To assume I'd want to argue with you about it is, quite frankly, silly. Chillax, my dood.
