This videos makes me remember an pretty old Krip-with-the-same-shirt-with-holes where he would be the first in some kind of race playing on WoW and his clan asked him if he could wait for them so they could all get the achivement or something and he wait it, but after a while he noticed that his "friends" were going to go first and were already in front of him, so he starts playing and still wins first lol mad respect

FYI Arsonists aren't spellcasters. They attack, hence why martial tempo works

Skeletal Arsonists use an attack skill for their main ability. The only thing they cast is the active ability to detonate another minion which is under a health threshold.

It's great having a minion based build for an arpg that doesn't suck, and is actually quite good. I always hated having to juggle making sure my minions were up. Love what they did in poe2

@@sloesty They have had their moments in the sun, but for the most part minion builds in PoE are just much weaker than other meta builds.

@@Fotumain13 I mean, if you're optimizing around blasting super hard and getting really high up on the ladder, then sure. But minions have very consistently been strong in PoE and cheap to build. People complained for years about how cheap minion builds were for how much power you got, until GGG changed up some of their power scaling.

@Fotumain13 they are usually hood league starters and you can reach 30 mil dps with poison srs under 100 divs rn do in my experience they do what they need to do. Either way, they probably haven't played poe because they were talking about minion uptime, and poe1 almost all your minions are permanent unless they die.

I would say it's a little troll not to run cleric(s). The spirit cost is really low, and if you have 2 your minions are just immortal. But the best thing about cleric is that the Pain offering that just dies in a second normally, actually survives even in the middle of packs. For a huge 40% MORE multiplier to all minions + 30% cast/attack speed. And Clerics will revive the Offering minion the second it goes away, instead of giving you a revive debuff that would screw you over if you didn't have clerics since something might die and reset that cooldown. Like in your situation, if I can be a little backseaty, you could drop the lightning guy and fit two clerics with your setup. Would give immortal minions basically, dog would never die and drop the 20% damage reduction. And pain offering would be really smooth to use, which would be more damage than the shock you get from the lightning skeleton.

@@gavhd2611 I give them the 30% resistance support and the cooldown reduction support. Res so they have capped res, as I don't have that on tree yet and if they survive better they can revive anything that dies or keep providing healing uptime. And cooldown since it's possible to socket it must affect the heal or resurrection some why.

What would yo say the cutoff is? Like how many Arsonists should be required before you start sacrificing them for clerics? Or does it not matter by the time you're getting gems of that level? Only asking b/c as of act 3 spirit seems pretty scarce.

Well I must say, this is such an unexpectedly awesome build. At first I was skeptical but after dieing A LOT with my witch and had to reroll three times because Respec was way to expensive( I couldn't pass the boss on act 2 the ones from the gates and Balbala was cleaning the floor with me)... I started last night a new witch following his build. I just finished act1 with 0 deaths... pretty amazed on the survivability, I see the witch and its minions already do great damage and survivability is key here. I like taking the passive when you lose mana instead of health first when taking damage, then stack in mana and mana regen. Also take the passive that converts your energy shield into mana.

maybe the arsonist is good for leveling but using the archers with firewall and the fire skulls worked really well for me. you can also combo the flame wall with the on use ability of the archers. i felt like i was dying more with the arsonists lol

You say that Fire Infusion is an attack skill and can only use it on Raging Spirits. However Skeletal Arsonist tooltip for Fire Bomb reads "Attacks with a bouncing bomb", and damage tooltip is changed by Fire Infusion. What's more, Martial Tempo reads "Supported skills have 25% attack speed", which of course works on Skeletal Arsonists.

I wish they had more spirit item drops in act 1. So frustrating having to use bone constructs because my minions die so fast. Also, can only have 4 max minions without bone constructs. Passive nodes aren't close enough for damage as well as survival. I had to wand down some bosses...so embarrassing as a minion build. When I finally got raging spirit, I finally felt like I can make it to end game, but it was such a struggle.

Hey Kripp, don't know if you read youtube comments but if you have any skill slots left over, consider trying out running a seismic cry for when you get swarmed. All the small mobs bounce back away from you leaving you plenty of space to roll away

edit: I can still summon 10 SRS, this hotfix announcement is wrong. Its probably only 5 when auto-casted. 0.1.0c Hotfix 1 Summon Raging Spirits now only summons 5 Raging Spirits per cast at all levels. The tooltip display will be updated in a future restart patch. Summon Raging Spirits can no longer be spawned from triggered Fire Skills.

Lightning Penetration wouldn't help the Storm Mages because ailment chance and magnitude are based on damage done PRE mitigation. So resistances don't factor into it. Only pure damage. Spell Echo would help too since they are casting a little slower but hitting twice as often. I'm actually using a stun setup on my skeletal warriors right now lol. I figured meh, it's something.

If your Storm Mage has applied the shock on the target, he is pretty much useless, so you can try to always target him if you see the shock applied. Also if you have a scepter with the free summon skeletons, you can target those instead.

im playing the same minion setup but my tankiness comes from energy shield. with kinda low investment and pathing around the big minion nodes i got to 3.2k energy shield and 1.5k life with all the recharge nodes. feels pretty good

hotfix information is wrong, they limited SRS to 5 when autocasted. This build uses manually casted firewall so it can spawn 10 SRS.

Are skeletal arsonists supposed to detonate minions automatically at certain health treshhold or is it just command skill? I noticed in some videos the skill is is circling like raging spirits.
