3 trickster demons actually did not activate

The card simply says "resummon your first demon that died this combat". It doesnt say anything about having to be on the field to actually gain insight to that demon. For example Nzoths fish says "GAIN the deathrattles of all friendly minions that died this combat". In order to "gain" it has to be there of course. Its like if the card text of the minions that die is written onto the fish. If no fish is there yet, that process of gaining cannot happen. However this new card never states anything like that. It should be able to look into the past and see what demon died even if its summoned later. For the same reason that for example a generated Shudderwock knows the battlecries of "this game" of the past without having to have existed yet. So based on the current wording->massive bug

I love that they are discussing how the armor total works because Kripp thought he had 8 when in fact he had 6 and the game just added up the two totals to get 14.

it's because at 0:28 for some reason the graphic changed from a 6 to an 8, that's why he thought it was an 8.

I dont think its a bug, its a typing error on Bliz end, they dont expect you to be able to reborn cultist under normal circumstances. Cult probably has fish logic to STORE death rattle because they have bad programmers who copy/paste code. They need to either get back in their and change the text or to change the code.

It looks like the reborn demon summoner card needs to be present when the demon dies for it to have a demon inside it.

Yeah however I dont think it should based on the wording. All "this game" cards in constructed as well as other modes are always able to look into the past no matter if they were in hand, deck or board at whichever point.

That’s how the fish works but fish is worded differently. Maybe they intended it to be this way, but they worded the card wrong if that’s the case

Hearthstone duo is actually like game mode tag duel from yugioh which fanbase hope will happen but didn't.

Except tag duels only have 1 board and take ages. They are fun in some of the video games if you can find a real human being to be your tag partner or if you at least get to create your tag partners deck so there is actual synergy.

pretty sure reborn w/ deathrattles always interacts like that. I've seen octosari work like that where he comes back as a reborn and it doesn't summon a giant tentacle

Octosari and Cultist are two different cards. Reborn Octosari doesn't keep his buffs because it's technically a different Octosari. Cultist is supposed to just summon the first demon that died this battle, the definition of a "first demon" shouldn't change based on whether the Cultist saw it happen or not

the parrot summoned a demon of it, but then when it died it didn't summon a demon at all? this seems really awkward, its like the Kultist lost its deathrattle when it first triggered.
