its not that lizard is unbeatable, its that its the last consistent haste build and its so consistient because they hand you the key item 33% of the time you click on the dooley button.

Yeah, Vanessa and Pyg can get some powerful haste builds like dooley- the issue is he gets to put it together more consistently than either of them because all of the items he needs are in his item pool. For a lot of vanessa's core non cutlass builds she really needs to fish for some other items which requires more luck than just visiting shops.

Yeah I think it was always better, he's just looking to kill as fast as possible and incendiary would have been huge with how much burn buffs he had saved. 45 burn on a sub 2 sec cd would have been so much more damage

I had basically this same build the other day in ranked and was cruising - right up until I had 8 wins and went up against that Double Whammy exodia build you posted that other day. As soon as my first shot from the flagship hit I just straight up died - and none of their items had even gone off yet. I actually thought it was a bug that killed me until I saw your video explaining what their build was designed to do.

Can someone explain me why he first replaces the cooldown item with the bracet in 30:44 right before he sells the feather? I can see no benefit by doing so ?

The brace adds 1 sec to the cooldown of items on the board so it has a higher reduction of cool down rate (6% off of 5 secs is higher than 6% off of 4 secs)

On top of the bracers increase to cooldown, the silencer decreases the ships cooldown. So removing it also makes the feather more effective

Dooley is way too consistent with the guaranteed haste for his starting cores.

It's not true that they're that slow. I've watched my builds reach the 4 seconds or whatever they need to get going, only to be dead a few seconds after that, even on Pyg with a respectable healthpool. Also like all players who love to imply how extraordinary they are, Kontrarrian here conveniently forgets to observe the key aspect to this discussion, which is how very specific the pieces must be to beat Dooley while Dooley himself has a much easier path. This is the very definition of imbalance. The video above is irrelevant to the discussion. So the current meta status is that something like 90% of the players that beat me at this point are Dooley. It's quite common that Dooley is only character that inflicts losses on me during a run, and since there are so many of them, that's usually enough to prevent me from reaching 10. I could sit and spam restarts to get the pieces that will beat some (but not all) Dooley's, OR I could act like a sane person and conclude that the game is currently quite broken.
