Many types of music generally lack those things. While we still may like them, (and I do like a lot of Hip Hop and Rap), I can recognize the difference and I think most people can also. There is no hip hop or rap that can be as beautiful as some other types of music, -simply because that music is more instrument based and at a more virtuoso level instrumentally (such as with classical music, where performing symphony based musicians have practiced their instrument for tens of thousands of hours, and studied the fundamentals of music, composing, arrangement, writing, and reading it (sheet music).
