If you don't tear up listening to this f'n man amongst men, you probably didn't watch or hear this. If this guy doesn't lift you and pump you up to be better in anything you do, be a better dad, pop, brother, son, leader, employee, friend. This of course applies to the feminine equivalent. Just imagine the love he has for his friend, and his friend for him. Thank you for posting just what I needed at this time in my life.

@@-MRN- Kris Paronto is lying about the Chief of Base in Benghazi standing down the GRS team. Paronto didn't say anything about a stand down order when he testified to the Rogers House Committee. John Tiegen made it up to add drama to the book, "13 Hours." Paronto went along with it, even though he later admitted to the Gowdy Committee to he didn't actually hear a stand down order. The other Benghazi contractor who claims the Chief issued a stand down order, wasn't even at the CIA Annex at the time when the Chief supposedly told Tiegen to stand down. Also, the accounts of two eyewitnesses to the conversation between Tiegen and Chief contradict Tiegen's claim.

@fredsslice5768
@fredsslice5768 5 жыл бұрын
I don't believe the CIA Chief of Base in Benghazi told the GRS Team to stand down. Here are some of the facts that convince me the Chief did not issue a stand down order to Tiegen. Tiegen claims the CIA Chief told him "stand down, you need to wait. You need to come up with a plan." Why would the Chief tell Tiegen to stand down and then tell him the team needed a plan? Why would the team need a plan, if the rescue mission to assist the diplomatic mission was cancelled? I think the Chief was telling him to shut up and wait until the team leader came up with a plan. Tiegen didn't say anything about a stand down order the first time he testified before a Congressional Committee. When Tig was asked about this, his answer made no sense. He seems to say he didn't say anything about it because he "didn’t know why the stand down order was given." Then, in the next sentence, Tig says, "[the Team Lead]...gave...why we’re told to stand down, it was...understandable." Tig contradicts himself. He says he didn't know why the order was given. Then, he admits the reason provided by the Team Leader was understandable. The CIA Chief of Base at the CIA Annex in Benghazi testified under oath to Congress, "I did not issue a stand-down order." The Chief testified, "I never had any doubt about the GRS people going to the State Department compound. I had great concerns and great worry about it but I did not, I did not tell anybody to stand down." One GRS agent testified that he did not recall the Chief of Base telling the team to stand down. The GRS Team Leader testified that the Chief did not issue a stand down order. Kris Paronto, in his testimony to Congress never claimed he was told to stand down by the Chief of Base. In its report on it's Benghazi investigation, published on January 15, 2014, the Senate Intelligence Committee reported that, "The Committee explored claims that there was a "stand down" order given to the security team at the Annex. Although some members of the security team expressed frustration that they were unable to respond more quickly to the Mission compound, 12 the Committee found no evidence of intentional delay or obstruction by the Chief of Base or any other party." The report of the U. S. House Intelligence Committee Investigation of Benghazi (dated November 21, 2014) found that, “no [GRS Security Team] officer at the CIA was ever told to stand down. The evidence from eyewitness testimony, ISR video footage, closed-circuit television recordings and other sources provides no support for the allegation that there was any stand-down order.”

I don't buy Kris "Sissy Boy" Paronto's hogwash that the CIA Chief of Base at the CIA Annex in Benghazi issued a stand down order. The testimony of the CIA Chief of Base, Deputy Chief of Base, GRS Team Leader and five GRS officers weigh heavily in favor of the Chief of Base's claim that he "did not tell anybody to stand down. Sissy Boy Paronto admitted in sworn testimony to the Trey Gowdy chaired House of Representative Select Committee On Events Surrounding the 2012 Terrorist Attacks in Benghazi, that he didn’t actually hear the Chief of Base tell John “Tiggie Boy” Tiegen to stand down. Sissy Boy Paronto testified that he was in a vehicle with the door closed when Tiggie Boy got out of his vehicle and yelled at the Chief. Sissy Boy Paronto testified that Tiggie Boy Tiegen returned to his vehicle and told Sissy Boy Paronto the Chief “is telling us to stand down.” John "Tiggie Boy" Tiegen is the only member of the six man GRS team from the CIA Annex that was sent to assist the diplomatic mission, who testified to Congress that he actually heard the Chief of Base issue a stand down order. Jack Silva and Dave Benton didn't say anything in their testimony before the Gowdy Committee about hearing the Chief of Base issue a stand down order. Ty Woods, who was a member of the six-man team, was killed in Benghazi. Why would the Chief of Base tell one member of the team stand down, but not tell the Team Leader or the other members of the team? The GRS Team Leader testified to the Mike Rogers chaired House Committee on Benghazi that the Chief of Base never issued a stand down order. The GRS Team Leader testified to the Gowdy House Committee that when he made the decision to depart the CIA Annex, he told the Chief, "Hey, Chief, look, we're going." This was just minutes after Tiggie Boy says the Chief told him to stand down. If the Chief had just told Tiggie Boy to stand down, why didn't he tell the Team Leader not to go assist the diplomatic mission when the Team Leader told the Chief “we’re going.” The Deputy Chief testified to the Gowdy Committee that the Chief of Base said "absolutely" when he approved the GRS team leader's request to "go get those guys" under attack at the diplomatic mission. The Deputy Chief told the Gowdy Committee the Chief of Base approved the GRS team mission to assist the diplomatic facility, "instantly, on the spot, without equivocation", when the Team Leader told the Chief “we got to got get those guys. “ Tiggie Boy didn’t even mention the stand down order the first time he testified to Congress, before the Rodgers Committee. When asked about this, Tiggie Boy gave a self-contradicting answer. Tiggie Boy told the Gowdy Committee he didn't say anything about a stand down order in his previous testimony because he did know “why the stand down order was given". Then, he said the team leader told him the “why” for the order and that he “kind of understood the reason.” A statement, that Tiggie Boy signed on to, suggests that Tiggie Boy didn’t disclose the stand down order because he was intimidated by the presence of the GRS Team Leader Tiggie Boy's story is as full of holes as Swiss Cheese. Congress didn't believe him, and I don't believe him. Some say he made it all up because he thought it would sell more books. That's my opinion. What do you think?

I watched "13 hours" a couple of years back and was impressed. Normally humour in action/war movies tends to be forced or fake, like the producers forced the screenwriters to make it up for the movie, but there was something about the humour in "13 hours" which seemed authentic as though it came from reality or that the real people had actually made those comments. Thank Kris for proving that was true!

Kris Paronto is lying about the Chief of Base in Benghazi standing down the GRS team.

Why is everyone saying things that are not true? Imagine being in a war situation like Tanto. Would you make things up? No, you would have a story to tell, whether if you have PTSD or if you are brave to get the story out. I am grateful that my grandfather fought, not in Benghazi, but he fought in the battle of the bulge on the beaches of Normandy in France during World War 2. He watched his best friend blow up. My mom got the story out when she was in high school. There is always a story to tell. Why are there so many people twisting things up? Would you twist things up about something such as World War 2? I'm not trying to get into an argument here. Have sympathy and empathy for our veterans. God bless our beautiful America. 🇺🇲

1:01:46 is the most important what people should take out of his speech and think about it real hard !!! After watching the movie 13hours twice I still could barley understand it until I made myself look this whole thing up to the littlest of its aspects! I like that they all wanted this movie to be the raw story without the politics involved but in the end this is all about politics. Starting with Gaddafi who may have been the worst human possible but still was loved by most of his people and who had isis under control making Libya a prosperous country with free health care and electricity and no debt. The only reason the U.S invaded was due to Gaddafis idea to form a GOLD DINAR which would unite the African and Arab nations in trade without using the U.S Dollar like they do now! It would have collapsed the US Dollar and bring all wealth towards Africa and the Middle East! US bankers and leaders knew this and started to convince people that Gaddafi was a bad leader and needed to be killed. To this day there are a lot of dictators out there why aren’t we killing them ever wondered? The US is run by evil people who are willing to send amazing caring soldiers to war for economic gain. This is not dying for freedom or liberty. This is dying for rich sociopaths that want to gain more power and money. If the people only knew. I wanna apologize for what The American government did to all of you and was willing to let u all die that night for their secret to be kept hidden and god forbid if you all would have died we would have no witness to how cruel they could be.

Gaddafi had changed a lot since the early 80s. He opened up his country to tourism, protected the Libyan Christians, he turned over all of his nuclear and biological weapons programs. His country was stable and not a lot of violence. Then came Hillary Clinton and Sidney Blumenthal. The Clintons were going to somehow, very much prosper from the fall of Gaddafi and Libya. Gaddafi was a horrible dictator at one time, he went from horrible to basically an ally of the United States. Hillary and the state dept, set Gaddafi and his military up. Dont know how yet, but be assured, Hillary and her state dept. did something to spark the Libyan uprising and Gaddafi got the blame.

The Chief testified under oath that he didn't tell Tiegen to stand down. The testimony of the Deputy Chief and GRS team leader back up the Chief's denial. You can believe Tiegen if you want.
