Being a vet 2x Iraq 1x Afghan and 2x Ukraine( Non Military employed ) and 16 years locking some of the most dangerous and delightful people the UK has to offer ! I've lost brothers right in front of me, at the side of me and behind me real heroes that everyday, every minute, second of everyday I think about. It hurts so much that I could and have gone into such grey areas that cliff edges, razor blades, medication, weapons became my best friends and gave me thoughts and feelings that the pain and horror all invisible apart from the scars that show on my face, arms, bent fingers, my limping etc etc, from the next man, woman or child you see, stand next to in a shop queue, talking too at the rugby or footy on a match day, meet during a morning walk with my pooch or speak to on your kids playground at school, could see, were oblivious to but often crippled me and minute by minute, these small, silly things but often life saving things( medication) are used each day in and out for the purposes they are actually created for and 95% of the person using the item have never thought what other uses people can use them for any of the aforementioned traumatic and horrific ways all for a way out of their, our....MY ...invisible killer !!! BUT, you know what..... If I did use any or all of the items just said for a quick way out an end..... Then, as I see it..... Every single Brother and Sister that have given the ultimate sacrifice a human being could give and ...Have done, then in my eyes I'm giving in and taking a Weak way out that I might as well have given the "SKINNIES"...the " Terry's(Taliban) and all the other COWARDS that thrive on, rejoice, and love seeing our Country's, Neighbouring country's etc etc decent, hard working, loyal, respectful, caring, loving etc etc Heroes bodies and let them decapitate them, piss down their necks and all over their dead bodies to video it and post it onto social media just for fun, threats and so many more cowardly ways ... They are full of !!! My brothers and sisters gave their lives so that myself, you, your neighbour, local wooden top, can wake tomorrow morning and see our kids, chase them around the playgrounds playing Tic, bulldog and so many more things we love doing with the very people we love the most ! Please please get in touch with myself or others, agencies, etc etc etc that actually "know" what your thinking and going through, your families and other loved ones too. PLEASE !!! FORGET THE MORALS THAT MANY LIVE BY AND FORGET THE ALTER EGOS THAT MANY OF US HAVE BEEN BORN INTO AND GROWN UP BY !! IM A MAN, IM HARD AS NAILS, IF I TALK THE INVISIBLE KILLER WILL WIN, ILL BE LAUGHED AT AND HAVE THE PISS TAKEN AND ILL NO LONGER RESPECTED !!!!! Folks that is UTTER, UTTER .....CRAP. If you don't want to know, if you think suddenly adopting the good ode " SELECTIVE HEARING" and you will be frowned upon by family and friends ..... THEN JUST THINK HOW MUCH PAIN AND HATRED YOUR GRIEVING FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL FEEL LOOKING DOWN AT YOU....ANOTHER STATISTIC that BEAT them and now .... WILL SLOWLY WORK ITS HORROR, EVIL AND NONE Stereotyping SELF ON YOUR LOVED ONES AND OTHERS YOU CARE ABOUT !!!! PLEASE, PLEASE.... Try it, if nothing else ...... SURELY YOUR LOVED ONES, FRIENDS, and PEOPLE MOST CLOSE TO YOU DESERVE THAT ! IM Slowly getting my charity up and running to hopefully help ! If it's just one person I can get to try it or even put a smile on their face then I'm happy ! I'm a sports lover ( Rugby, Footy, MMA, Boxing, Tennis etc etc ) there was one quote that has always stuck with me and it was an old quote but so so true.... Football....or Soccer in mind your playing and under pressure and unsure about your next play etc etc my ODE man said " If in doubt, kick it out" !!! So.... Change it a bit and ....it's probably crap, sorry folks but how about ...." If your in doubt, then SPEAK out". My email address is on my channel in the " about" section each channel has. I had my military career stolen from me while I was stationed up at Drum. A girl lied to me and then wrote the husband that I didn't know about a letter saying she cheated on him. I was a tool she used to either get back at him or just break his heart, well it wound up altering the next 23 years of my life. I'm fighting in the gray every day since. I was never given a debriefing on how to reenter the civilian world and I have never quite understood the people around me ever since. Unless they were Vets. I was a Saw gunner and an ice cold killer. Now I have to smile at people when they deserve a beat down. My mind has never rested and I have never sought out help from a civilian shrink because they could be the one who takes that ass whooping. Life can be taken from you in an instant. Crazy story although I wish it was better organized in the way it was told. Curious if he still gives this speech and if it’s more polished now. Also there are points where it’s clearly exaggerated.. “I crawled with my arms and dragged myself 7 miles”… think of how far it takes to drive 7 miles, let alone “crawl” when paralyzed and shot multiple times. Going to go out on a limb and say that just didn’t happen. The very casual way he tells the story sounds like a bit of an old fishing story
@ham7357 Жыл бұрын
That’s just one of many. Like when he claims RPG blasted him out of his cover multiple times? This isn’t an action moving explosives don’t blow you away like a tornado if it’s that’s close to throw your body your brains would be mush. Or when he said axelson some how found him and sat next to him but he was also blind and his face was so messed up he wasn’t recognizable…..it’s all bullshit. They got ambushed and ran down the mountain side. That’s it

@@mert2217 there is 2 scenes in that movie that aren't true. The rest of the script is straight from declassified documents and Marcus mouth. So please with all your military wisdom tell me what is "pure propaganda". Don't worry I'll wait.... people who were boots on the ground say that movie is probably the most accurate war movie there is. The only thing that they got wrong is that the mountain wasn't depicted correctly that it was steeper and rougher to fall down.

@trevormurray617 that's weird... I know a man who was personally there when Marcus was rescued and was part of the briefings of what happened before they went in and, after fact, reporting briefings. There's a lot of nut swingers that have come out even in recent months saying that Marcus is a liar. But none of them were there. They may have been in the same country, but they weren't there. The thing about us as humans, we all have our own perspective me and you can stand right next to each other and see two different things. Personally, I'm gonna take the word of what Marcus said because he was there and the only one alive to say what actually happened. Has the story been embellished? I'm sure it has. But i think if you watch Marcus's earliest interviews, that's where the truth is. He openly admitted to putting his rifle down in the fire fight while he heard screams for help. It's clear he ran, or hid, or he would have been killed just like the rest of them.

In his official report to the Navy he wrote that his team faced 35-50 insurgents. In his book he said they fought in excess of 200. The Taliban who saved his life said he found 11 magazines on Marcus, not a single bullet fired. He claimed his thumb was almost blown up, his hand destroyed, most surgeons (including my wife) said there is no come back from the injury he described, yet less than a year later there are photographs of him shooting from that same hand. He describes incredible wounds, a single one of them would mean dismiss from the Armed Forces yet, the Navy accepted him for another tour... And yet, he wants you to believe that his exploits were such that Chuck Norris himself was proud of him. Great fiction Mr. Luttrell, that is the only credit I give you. A brilliant, creative mind.
@d.t.540011 ай бұрын
Exactly 💯 💯 There used to be a video here on KZbin that was filmed by one of the Taliban as they were attacking. You can clearly here Murph, Axe, and Dietz calling for Marcus as he runs away from the battle. All three had their voices confirmed from living relatives and other SEAL members.

There's a picture of Marcus Luttrell in the Newsweek article titled "Marcus Luttrell's Savior, Mohammad Gulab, Claims 'Lone Survivor' Got It Wrong" showing his face without any injuries. The Rangers who found him claim he only had some scratches and a single gunshot wound in his butt. Very far off from the injuries he claimed to have suffered.

Hate to break it to you, his story is all BS from contact with the enemy to being rescued by the Rangers. He froze, didn't fire a shot, and there were less than 10 Taliban with 2 of them filming the fire fight. The Rangers that rescued him, and recovered the bodies tell a different tale. He even stiffed the villager that saved his life. Axel was found by Marines 10 days after the recovery of the other two. He was wounded, and made it to the pre-planed rally point. He looked like he died only 2-3 days before being found.
