Crystals are often associated with new age healing, so it makes sense that Christians would avoid them at all cost.

My mom is an amateur geologist. She loves hunting for and collecting all kinds of rocks, gem stones and minerals and has a beautiful collection, all regularly dusted and organized with name plates. I admire the collection each time i stroll past. And yes, crystals too. Natural ones! They're beautiful!! And they have no more power than the petrified wood or marble sitting next to it. They have energy stored in them from the time of creation. Like anything, even prayer, they can be used for good or bad. Prayer is bad if you are trying to control an outcome that isn’t meant for the highest good. Prayer harnesses energy, and if some with bad or controlling intention, you summon the will of darkness and not light (God). I own them mostly as jewelry or home decor.

One thing to consider when you buy anything from a New Age or Wiccan or Neopagan store is that before things are put on their shelves that are useful for spell magick, they are anointed during rituals to do the work they are set out to do. I know this because I followed Wicca before I renounced it and gave my life to Christ. My only regret is that I gave all of my things away instead of throwing them away. The woman I gave them to could sense all the power that still resided in them. Demons attach themselves to objects.

I am so glad you pointed this out! Most people, especially the speaker here, have only read the Bible about God and no other outside information so they base their teachings only from one perspective! I am an avid reader and have come to realize that everything and everyone has energy, including God! Everything also has an aura as well. Barbara Y. Martin has a very good book on auras and another, Communing with the Divine in which she gives the true meaning of who Jesus was, the difference between the Christ and she goes deep into the many aspects of spiritual hierarchies and angels! It is a superb and in death teaching!

I agree with Nikola Tesla. I don't see it as "mystical powers," but I know that people do use them to block the harmful effects of EMF waves (created by our 5G technology). Most people who use them for these reasons that I'm aware of are also conservative. I agree with what you wrote.

I read on Google that in electronics, crystals are used for frequency control. Crystals are usually cut from quartz and resonate at a set frequency when powered. However, I certainly wouldn't worship them. I love their color!

OK, I understand about the scriptural research, and I greatly respect what you do Kris. But what about the need for us to avoid the appearance of evil? Because so many people in New Age, witchcraft and the occult do wear them and use them or try to use them, and as someone pointed out about the Pizoelectromagnetics, there is some power or ability at least to spark something. But, the main point being avoiding the appearance, and not being a stumbling block. As Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, wrote "all things are permissible for me, but all things are not profitable. " For instance, I was raised by a practicing witch… So it is still very hard for me to not look at someone wearing those things (just like someone wearing a pentagram) and not think they are involved in trying to usurp power and give credit for it to some thing other than God. In the interest of "come, let us reason together." I also hate religion and legalism, so I'm definitely not coming at it from that angle.

I'm a Christian, had a Godly message dream about a shop., but was unsure what it meant but definitely the feeling of something life changing. Two years later I went to a shop brought crystals for extra empowerment then realised days later it was the same shop in the dream. Concluded to myself that the dream must have been a message of blessing, so continued buying crystals. However, two members of the family thought something didn't sound right as I found myself talking to them and cleansing them. I thought they are fine they are in the bible. Asked crystals for help and YES they came true. Which made me realise that they are truly powerful and real. Many arguments with my husband about them. Decided to fast and pray about an issue. However, when I fasted and prayed God told me to get rid of them. Immediately I wanted them out of my house and succeeded. Yes, don't do things with them but since the wake up call from God, I have never returned to them. It's been 6 years now.

My Dad was a pastor/ missionary by profession and a jewellery watch repair expert by trade. A quartz watch runs when an electrical charge is applied and vibrates to an accuracy close to the time on earth in seconds. When people say there is 'power is crystals' I tell them that and then I quote that verse ( Rom 1:25) that says the day will come when people worship the created more than the creator. I bought a ring pink Crystal ring from the hospital that I was working at few years back. The first time I wore it to church, I had my hands up and worshipping in song to the Lord Jesus. I'm a Christian and have found myself recently drawn to rocks and crystals. I'm a nature lover, but I am now too weak to go out hiking like I did when younger. Seeing the beauty of God's creation in rocks and crystals is awe-inspiring. Maybe therein lies the healing? At any rate, I feel giddy like a kid again when I find a pretty new rock or crystal to add to the collection. Old rock hounds never die!

I treated my stones and crystals the same as everything else in my house I sorted, organized, donated, or threw away- I discerned what should stay or go then prayed over what stayed. That meant some got thrown away because you don’t make a profit or transfer bad things to other people.

I was in new age for 12 years. Personally I don't want crystals in my home because of the heavy link with my past but that is not to say I won't have them as ornaments in the future. God's stones are so beautiful!

I did however get rid of the crystals that I purchased in a store that was selling things of the occult and that were tide to witchcraft. We are being called to take back Gods unique creations!!! It's like Aromatherapy. I love the beautiful fragrances and using these oils however, the biggest franchise in the UK that sells aromatherapy also provides tarot and shaman readings as part of their complimentary healing services. She seemed offended when I politely declined and told her I am a Christian, I do not engage in the occult. Yet, oils are mentioned in the bible.

@@saveonbranddesigns I love aromatherapy as well! I’ve stop burning sage and I am still seeking God’s guidance in how to operate in that regard. I currently only burn the frankincense and myrrh incenses at this time but I’m doing a study into having a better understanding. If someone declines your offer to pray for them, would you be offended? When someone gets upset or offended when you decline anything from prayer, to food and even laying hands on you... It’s VERY telling.

All I was doing was deflecting what I did not want to recognize in my own heart. What I needed to do was repent. If somebody didn't want me to pray for them, I would pray with compassion that they turn to Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. If the Lord shows me that they are dabbling in witchcraft, (or using the "law of attraction" on me) I would stand and recite Isaiah. Psalm 91 is prayed morning noon and night anyway. And of course, the Lord's prayer. Then I focus on "be still and know that I am God". ( Psalm 46:10) However, if I feel that extra focus is needed on the word of God, I always listen to a sermon by Dr Charles Stanley kzbin.info/www/bejne/qF6cfWVjlruFaqs and a good bible teaching church. As for sage, I use a sage blended oil. I find it rich and comforting.

@@saveonbranddesigns I noticed that when I was called I was definitely battling demons. I repented and I learned to stop willfully sinning. I make mistakes but I learn a lot quicker than I use to. God really delivered me while I was in search of Him and His Kingdom. We can be free from these disembodied, demonic spirits. Glory to God! Finding my identity in Christ Jesus and walking in His will has changed me completely. No judgement, just prayer that others choose to follow Yeshua! Many are called but few are chosen Matthew 22:14. Armor up chosen ones. I am learning that the chosen don’t battle demons… we slay them!!! Glory to God!!! God bless you!

I'm glad I found this video! I was in the process of looking up if it's ok (as a Christian) to have a lucky bamboo plant in my house. In my search to find out how to care for the plant, I found it is associated with feng shui, a Chinese superstition belief. Your video has made me more comfortable having the plant and confirms my initial thought that -- God is the one who created it and it's fine to have in my home. Thank you and God bless!! Rev 21 also speaks of 12 foundation layers being precious stones. The stones themselves are innocent . What the world does with them is wrong but they do have properties God gave upon creation. Believers must only be aware and have discernment. Don't get involved with strange beliefs

Thank you for making this video. I was raised in a Christian home, and I accepted Jesus as a young teen. But I am, and always have been fascinated with crystals and minerals. I have of course over the past few years heard people talk about certain powers they supposedly have, but I've always known that wasn't true. I have a small collection of crystals that I simply enjoy because I feel as though these beautiful stones are a small part of the amazing and beautiful handiwork of God. It's so nice to see a fellow Christian who also understands this.

I love pretty stones and rocks and gemstones, but I don't think they're magically doing anything... other than making me grateful for God creating them. It draws me to worship him... and he is my healer, the one who does whatever people claim the crystals do. LOL.

I Love crystal’s colors and shapes.. they’re amazingly beautiful but that’s it. My favorite is opal grew helping my mother cleaning and admiring a whole jar 🫙 of them omg the mixture of colors and none of them were exactly the same. Just beautiful!! 💙

Absolutely love crystals and all rock formations of any kind. My dad was a geological engineer and he taught very early in life to enjoy and appreciate these beautiful examples of God’s handiwork. He would bring me rocks from his travels and he left his collections and books to me. To this day I still collect and identify rocks on every trip and display them for their beauty and the stories they tell, in my home. I have never worshipped or thought they had magical powers. But I’m wondering if the many uses of rocks and minerals bc of their unique physical properties, might have lead to exaggerated myths about their abilities.

There are two sides to every coin as they say A dichotomy of Good and evil Ppl will always twist the truth to sway their way, manipulate to suit their agenda, change the narrative and distort the truth. I have a few crystals in my home. I have clear crystal quarts door knobs and crystal glasses and cutlery. I don't worship them, I have them because I like shiny things. I enjoy their beauty. I remember as a young teenager that I went to a fabric store and bought the items to make a belt for myself. I picked the rainbow 3-4 inch cloth like strap thinking how pretty it was (never heard of gay or lesbian stuff in my life). Not until high-school did I hear that stuff. I got rid of it once I grew out of it. I think about how innocent people were back then, just not knowing or hearing of such turmoil.

I agree about the stumbling. I had a pretty amethyst stone I purchased on a trip across the country. I ended up also gifting one. I discovered the gifted one was being used in rituals by that person. They are now into full blown new age if not actual witchcraft by now… oh how that saddened me. I see more & more of this now, people relying on them and NOT on Christ. Aside from the few modest jewelry pieces I happen to have- I threw out my amethyst after that. See - this is why we can’t seem to ever have nice things, and God knows our human flaws too well, sigh!

Evil distorts everything God created, however crystals do hold energy. I was wearing a quartz necklace while praying in the Spirit and the crystal turned very warm. So I agree they are not inherently evil and are a part of God's beautiful creation. However, they do hold energy and can be charged with energy.

I used to struggle in this area too when my daughter was obsessed with collecting crystals at one point due to social media influence and kept praying about it, even visiting those shops with her while praying hard to God to reveal His truth to the people buying and selling the crystals. I have also talked with my daughter about it and praise the Lord she has a stronger faith than me because she said she merely admired them and if i'm worried, we can pray over the crystals for cleansing from any spiritual forces. I did and also prayed for her not to be addicted to this collection and released her to the Lord. Only when i saw this video did I realised yes God heard and answered my prayers as my daughter no long buys or obsessed over the crystals! Hallelujah, all praise and glory to God!

I have prayer beads from a project we did with the youth group (made out of pony beads). I used liturgical colors, which keeps me on track with the church season themes as I pray. I'm making myself an upgrade - a grown-up version where I selected gemstone beads (because they're real - like my faith and God's Creation - not plastic). For "ordinary time green", I chose moss agate (looks like growth, right?), and for Christ's death, lava (descended to the dead), etc... The cross has wood beads, and the center of the cross is clear crystal quartz (He is not here, He is risen). I can't wait for my bead order to arrive! 🙂 So glad to hear your take on crystals - I thought about that a lot when I was making my selections. I chose what would be meaningfully aligned to the prayer themes, not what some new age "magic" says about "powers" (does what God created need additional magic?).
