Here you go again..... sounding fantastic with elegant melodies! I was supposed to do laundry today and of course my day has changed because you've once again inspired me to play.... Oh well..... laundry can wait! Thanks brother and may the gift of music continue to bless your every day!

Haha, in case anyone‘s complaining because of the laundry just blame it on me. I can live with that. Music goes first. 🙌 Thanks so much Rene, cheers man!

Great tones in this pedal, and I really enjoy your playing. I use a Deja Vibe in my main rig and a room reverb in the effects loop of my wet amp, also, my Deja Vibe is almost as big as the Uni Verb, but only has the chorus and vibrato in it. Great video as always, Rock On Brother!
@KrisBarocsi2 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot man! Yeah the Deja Vibe is really cool too. I think I like the midrange and the warmer tone of this one a little more though. That being said both are incredible vibes.

Hi Kris, The pedal sounds good, but it is a little weird when companies don't do this dual-pedals with a more "logic" mindset. It would be much more "logic" to pair a univibe with a fuzz\octavia - like a "band of gypsies in a box" - or with another modulation that goes in front of the drive pedals - like a phaser. Having to use an effect loop scheme for something like this, is just weird. On a more positive note, I love that you're "staying true" to the Toxic Twins - my favorite pedal. Cheers. HM
@chrisvantassel88672 жыл бұрын
We chose a loop because then you can choose what type of fuzz or drive you prefer. In fact, you can loop all drives, fuzzes and anything else into the Uni-Verb giving you more flexibilty. I think people would be frustrated if they had only one fuzz or drive sound built in. We feel that drives and fuzzes are where people are most particular.....that was our logic!
@hugomartinho25552 жыл бұрын
@@chrisvantassel8867, I know the loop gives us the option to change the signal path, specially using a switcher. But for a straight forward signal chain - like a lot of people use, in my opinion - it's just to much extra cabling to place the reverb on the right place. Thinking about what you just said about matching the vibe with a fuzz, I can understand - point taken. So I would only"bitch" about not being a phaser or something that didn't need to change the signal order drastically. But that's just my opinion. Thanks for the explanation, best regards. HM
@chrisvantassel88672 жыл бұрын
@@hugomartinho2555 If you get a chance give one a try, the Reverb combined with the "Chorus" is pretty magical. The Reverb was designed to gel well with the chorus/vibe side. The loop does work very well and the vibe is much more musical than an original Univibe. We have a pedal on the SIB side that does the fuzz/octave or just fuzz or just octave that is killer in the loop. Anyway, we appreciate your opinions and we of course did think about that upon the design but when you play it you do realize the synergy of the two effects
@dylandenney39802 жыл бұрын
I know my choice wouldn't be for everybody, but I love the design. I put vibe after my fuzz and distortion and before my drive. I also want to have reverb before my drives to get that Neil Young thing. So this pedal is the perfect solution for me without even needing the loop. Again that's not everybody's cup of tea. But you don't need a switcher or anything to run pedals in the loop. Just like you don't need a switcher to use pedals in an amp effects loop

Very clear sounding UniVibe. Lots of the vintage correct reissues have tendency to be very sirupy/mushy. My dream UniVibe (and still probbaly the one I end up buying, when I pull the trigger) is the Effectrode tube vibe. Loads of headroom and very clear sounding. Not very vintage correct, but I dont exactly like vintage univibe sounds.

Ill watch this for sure. But do you also have a uni-vibe clone comparison video? If not, would you consider making one? Not sure if there is a demand for it. I know you can get really good ones for good money. I don't know if the budget options are any usable, I mean I know they won't be as good obviously. But any ones out there "good for the money"? How much better are the proper expensive ones? I'd be interested in this too. Watching the current video now.

It’s probably surface mount but I don’t know. Haven’t checked. You know there are pedals were I wanna know these things and there are ones were I don’t care. If the tone and the feel is ridiculous and way beyond what I expected I wouldn’t even care if it was a digital emulation (for example the UAFX pedals). I will open it though and let you know what I see. 👍

Here's the problem; you don't make the dumb faces when the camera is off… Why do it when it's on? It's hurting your ability to gain subscribers… People don't like to watch annoying content, they want to watch content that is either educational, historical or entertaining or any 2 of those... your first goal should be not to be annoying.
