Kris, you say it's not you or any kind of magic but the truth is... it is you as much as the guitar; the formula is you + your guitar = magic. It's not the just guitar specs. The more stories you write with your guitar, the more you rock it, the more battle scars on both you and the guitar the more magic happens... Don't ever get rid of it and keep doing what you're doing. Love your videos!
@KrisBarocsi4 жыл бұрын

The latest one I bought for my birthday - It is the Performer Series, now limited colors I bought the Classic White Telecaster (looks like a hint of yellow to me) I love them and also, they have the three-barrel bridge - it is really nice. I do have other guitars Gibson's, Yamaha, etc. but I liked the Telecaster so much I thought it was time for another birthday present - although GAS can be bad for musicians - LOL but we love them. I remember back between the years 2004 through 2009. My first electric guitar was a Fernandes Nomad Deluxe. A lot of my friends kept getting on my ass to get rid of it and get a real guitar. So I went to a music store and started looking around.Spend 3 hours in the store looking for what would be the right guitar for me. I found this Squier Thin Line Telecaster for $350.00. Played it for over an hour. Loved this sound and bought it. 11 years later, it's still an awsome guitar. Soon after I bought the Tele, the Nomad went back to California where it belongs.

The one I want to hear most about is about the heavily modified Les Paul CM that made a few blink and you missed it appearances in this video. Would be nice to hear about the work you put into it and the challenges you faced. How you went about adding the pickguard and routing the new bridge pickup. And an honest opinion on if it was all worth it. Would have it been better just to grab an Epiphone "Old Glory" to get basically the same thing? Does the personalizing of it make it that much more meaningful or special to you? I guess the video kinda makes itself lol.

If or rather when I move back to adidas HQ Kris, I now know I simply have to bring my latest guitar in for you to play. My Dale Wilson Master Build 60’s Tele with slab board, large C neck, Josefina ‘63 PuP’s. 3 TSB Journeyman finish. I initially got it to see what the fuss about Dale Wilson was all about, knowing I could return it if it was ‘just’ another good guitar... But damn I had to pinch myself and get it independently checked with some serious local US guitar players, and they said well that’s just one of the best Tele’s we’ve ever played. Feels great to come across these gems doesn’t it. To top it off I got lucky with the amount of competition for guitar sales in the US. Not much more than the regular CS pricing. It’s a guitarists paradise over here with the flexibility both in terms of trying/returning and negotiating final purchase price. Plus I currently live in Oregon where there’s no sales tax. Happy days😊 Stay well and keep up the great content. Prost! 🍻
