How I got here - The Endless Coloured Ways - The songs of Nick Drake covers. Cover of Northern Sky by Kris Drever and Karine Polwart. Straight onto Spotify "This is Kris Drever", and then heard this track and absolutely loved it. Straight onto KZbin hoping to find a live version and hey presto! This is absolutely fantastic.

My song of the moment.....I heard Kris Drever sing this back in May, love the arrangement, the words, the singing. The event took place over 100 years ago, in June 1919, but the words are as pertinent as ever. Great song.

Oh, I'm such a sucker for harmony. Beautifully done, all. It helps when the song lends itself to harmony too ;)

This was such a beautiful concert - a real treat in the midst of the lock down, and some of the best renditions you've done of what are already fantastic songs.

Great song. Just keen to find an explanation of the significance of Oldenburg at that time
@KrisDreverGuitar Жыл бұрын
There was a very brief Declaration of Independence in Oldenburg but the sailors on board the ships had no access to news of any kind and so wouldn’t have known one way or the other.

Hi Kris, The song is great, the band has lot of energy, and you’ve got great guitars. Is it a Colling D1 other than the Waterloo on the back? Ciao da Milano (Marco)
