How in the world Eggs are considered as veg.? So, you are a Eggiterian and not a vegetarian..😂
@lovereachable3 ай бұрын
Egg doesn't come from a plant source. So, it's not vegetarian. More precisely speaking, there is nothing like 'vegetarian' or 'non vegetarian' at all. There is only vegan and non vegan. Anyway, egg is not that. It's simply not vegan. And going by what and how you say it, it's not vegetarian. Even ethically, egg can't be considered vegan. Hens develop severe arthritis from repeatedly laying eggs if they are unfertilized. It is almost as cruel as the dairy industry. 🌺 🌿
@syedmehboob26713 ай бұрын
@@GaneshKumar-dv2yq he explained this for 20 minutes dude. Vegan is when you don’t use any animal products. Vegetarian is when you don’t have to kill. If you can drink milk and call urself a vegetarian (where torcher is done to most cows) unfertilised egg has least harm to animals and is more vegetarian than you think

Loving the gentle censorship of the uncomfortable parts of the video. As they say, one's public communication should be something that even one's mother can listen to. I can share this video with my mother while being fully confident that its not off putting. Love the message as well. Being from a pure vegetarian family - it took me several decades to warm up to the idea of eating eggs to a point where I have it for breakfast daily and also share it with my children. It is indeed a powerhouse of nutrients and I intend to consume it with a guilt free conscience.

Thank you for this video! I can show this to some of my relatives who are horrified that I eat more than one egg most days. I’m past 70 and eaten eggs at least for 68 of those years! When I have my eggs with a whole plate of vegetables and a few nuts and seeds, I never feel hungry until 6 pm. If I don’t and have porridge or similar items I’m munching all day. My Cholesterol is at the bottom of the normal range and I’m metabolically healthy . Eggs are my saviour but I didn’t know these details that not all eggs are fertilised etc. Thank you so much! Thank you @krishashok. Educating Indian folks is very important that egg is vegetarian and they should include in their everyday diet plan. One more important point is that India has the highest amount of people suffering from Non -alcoholic Fatty liver disease ( NAFLD) and ultimately may turn into Ascites and liver cirrhosis. The diet for such folks is low sodium high protein and Fibre diet and they should include eggs in their everyday meal for source of albumen. Now egg becomes sacrosanct for such individuals and therefore this video must be made viral for educating people..

While the eggs you buy may be unfertilised , but it's not vegetarian, vegetarian is simply shakahari means shak (plants) se aane wala ahaar. And neither milk is . Both of them are produced from animals. Now bigger question is how these birds are treated at poultry to get eggs . They are kept in very gruesome places , very suffocated and confined battery cages , 4-6 birds in a single cell till the period of 3-4 yrs until they are killed finally when their egg production ceases. Mostly to be profited largely , these birds are placed in such a way that their beaks are cut off with a hot iron so they can fit better in that cramped cell and the hens don't injure each other with their beaks punching each other affecting their egg production. They don't see sunlight ,fresh air , or walking on the open grounds . We control their behavior and environment . Hens are artificially and selectively bred for the purpose of giving max eggs of 250-300 for serving the profit of poultry and demand of protein which can be fulfilled by having variety of lentils , legumes , beans and grains. Instead of teaching the masses of getting protein aptly from veg sources , we are encouraging such cruel practices , we don't see and we don't want to see such blind practices , when in reality we can eliminate this unnecessary sufferings of these hens that are not even naturally born but artificially bred for getting the so called protein. We ignore the fact that the hens while giving far too many eggs unnaturally, they suffer through problems of bone , inflammation , sometimes so much that they can't carry their body weight properly and their condition is cruelsome and exploitative as clearly seen if you visit the poultry or see a documentary on you tube. Do you still think it's vegetarian and fair to consume such cruelty and exploitation product? As humans are we not supposed to minimise violence , exploitation and cruelty on our fellow animals ? Are we not supposed to minimise exploitation and violence by ways of educating masses as to how the animal products come on our plates and we should adapt to purely vegetarian diet , where milk has the same story , even worse , pls do watch maa ka dudh documentary on you tube to gain the hidden dark facts about dairy industry

There's a fundamental difference between eating eggs and drinking milk. A hen lays a lot of eggs, more than 10 usually before it broods because all of them wouldn't make it to a chick, other animals and birds would steal it. Humans as well. But the milk is produced is exclusively for the calf, no other animal drink it after they grow up. So drinking milk is unnatural and eating eggs is very natural.

That's ok it's unfertilised egg. What is worrying is the kind of conditions in which chickens are caged. One above the other, some legs broken..... I know food is ones choice but while plants cannot feel or don't have any nervous tissue feeling pain, these animals could be evidently seen in pain, whether it's while butchering or forcefully made to give egg...or in case of dairy. Unfortunately our gluttony triumphs over it. 🤦🤦🤦 If protein is the issue why not protein tablets of spirulina, cheap and best source. But then I realise that it's not that all people deliberately do this infact it's like habituated trend, not evility

Wonderful video. Enjoyed every bit of it (while eating an egg 😄). As far as free range eggs go, the main reason u pay more is for the way the chooks are treated. Cage eggs come from chooks whose beak tips are cut off when they r young to prevent them from killing other chicks squeezed in the cage. Free range chickens don't have to undergo this as they r free to roam which also increases the production costs due to large land areas required. While nutritionally not very different, the free range eggs do have a slight edge when in comes to taste and the overall quality of the cooked product (except for boiled/steamed eggs) making that extra payment somewhat worth it. Not sure if it's related to the hormones/antibiotics rampantly used in cage eggs but perhaps less so with the free range ones.
