I'm the violinist from the recording. Vidhyabhusana was simply a delight to play for. I was truly honored and enjoyed his performance thoroughly. He communicates much with body language and signaling, rather than using words. The song list for the event was a complete surprise to me, as were my "solo" opportunities, like at 1:29...he's so involved, but manages to use his pakka vaadyam very well. Simply put, he would have a musical rapport with anybody. Not to forget, Mahesh was spendid too! :)
