The beauty of this traditional number lies in the fragrance of Sringara rasa. Nayika here is Vasaka Sajjika, eagerly waits for her beloved Krishna to come home. She is enthuesed with her affection to Krishna and barely exposes her outpour of emotions to her beloved.

గాత్రం డి.వి.కనకదుర్గ. పసుమర్తి వాళ్ళ స్కూలులో నేర్చుకున్న వాళ్ళకు ఈ ఆడియో ఇస్తారు. కనకదుర్గ గారు మంచి వయస్సులో వుండగా పాడింది. ఆమె కేసెట్లు అమ్ముకున్నందుకు ఆమెకు పైసా కూడా చెల్లించరు. మధ్యలో ఎక్కడైనా అమెరికా తీసుకెళ్ళినందుకు ఏదో ముట్టజెపుతారు. శ్రమ దోపిడి. ట్రూపుతో 500 దేశాలు తిరిగారు అమెరికా ఓ వందసార్లు వెళ్ళారు. అదే ఆమెకు తృప్తి. ప్రస్తుతం చెన్నైలో విశ్రాంత జీవితం గడుపుతున్నారు. ఈమె పాడని సిని నటి లేదు
