Excellent and so powerful. When noise becomes music, the man behind the machine is a true artist.

I love JMT and have 3 of Tetsuji's boxes: SNB2n, TVCO and NF. Lately I'm thinking again to get a new one (maybe a big box this time, I'm studying the sound capabilities of this UNVO and the DNVO). As you say the build quality is impeccable, and these sound amazing! The VCOs are brilliants, and I love you have tons of output volume available!

This seems like a fun interactive device. Potential comparison instruments in my mind are the SOMA Lyra 8 and the unabashedly digital Moffenzeef Stargazer. This particular instrument seems more like the former. If the LYRA had shaping filters somewhere in its feedback network I would own one.

Thomas Hoffend I ordered the Lyra-8 yesterday. I’ve been bored as hell recently on lockdown and could comfortably spend the next month just tweaking its settings. It has far more harmonic capabilities than JMT’s devices but I could see ordering one of these and mixing them together

I've been saying for years, you've got that gift for making a score for a film. As has been said. This little box sure makes and Powerful sounds! Excellent.

Hi, the Kris Lennox Special Edition of this box is amazing. At its fullest, it sounds orchestral. Would be brilliant for Sci-fi and Horror movies! I'm looking forward to your follow-up article. I need to know what you changed and why.

Did you use delay or reverb with the Unvo to get this sound? I would love to know your settings. Great post

I also have an UNVO-1 and 2 other JMT synths. What exactly is « custom » about this particular one?
@Human-Failure3 жыл бұрын
hi... great unit... Modifications are only aesthetic?? or any in the circuit or sound?

This sounds huge! What is "custom" in your UNVO-1, besides the olive green color?

Holy cow - The sound is huge - and marvelous! Is this recorded dry? or have you added any post effects?
@krislennoxmusic4 жыл бұрын
Hi Dave - a little post. The signal is split/doubled, with one line fed through a Vemuram Rage-e pedal (the other part is dry). Both parts are then fed into a Lexicon PCM 96 (reverb etc), with that signal then sent into an SSL Fusion.
