As a Finn, I recognize Finnishness from Tuomas' compositions, even though his compositions are otherwise very international. Potoskavaara and Suuri Heinäjärvi there is the soul landscape of Holopainen. Nature has always belonged to the works of Finnish composers, both Sibelius and Tuomas Holopainen.

@Francesca D'Amico Part of "The Last Samurai"? Not that I'm aware of... That song was soundtrack for a finnish film named "Lieksa!". But at the shows of "End Of An Era" they played a sample from that film ("Red Warrior") as opener. Maybe you've heard that while listening to the show. They played "While Your Lips Are Still Red" there, too.
