"Compliments to the season Kriss". When I was growing up, this was the greeting Grenadians said to each other at this time of the year. Watching this vlog made me more homesick than ever before; to be home for the holidays. Snow, minus-double-digit temperature, nasty wind chills added to already COLD temp in Ontario, Canada; and coming out of this horrible pandemic is NOT what the doctor ordered. The colours are so vibrant, the spices, the fresh coconut, fruits and vegetables, and the lovely looking fresh provisions; Ooh how I long for HOME. I am vex☹😒with you daughter for showing off that yummy bowl of cooked provisions and saltfish, my mouth was watering🤣😂. Although I do cook a lot of homestyle dishes now, It just does NOT taste the same as I remember; because ALL the ingredients are from different countries, not Grenada. I didn't want to watch this vlog since I saw it posted, but I could not avoid it any longer; now you know why. I do not celebrate Christmas, but I trust you and your family had a safe and happy one. Let me also extend God's wonderful, loving, and endless BLESSINGS to you, yours, and family ahead of The New Year 2023 and for the future.💯🙏♥🙌🌟✨
