AND they're on vacation. smh. But I have a friend who legit probably couldn't afford a impound fee if the family car got impounded for not paying to park. His family saves just enough to get to and from their destination and for the hotel and that's about it. They might have enough for one or two fun things to do but that's it. I honestly don't get it. They do this twice a year for different places, I would think it'd make more sense to do one vacation a year or one every other year and be able to afford to have fun but they don't see it that way. He went to Vegas with a different group of friends and went to one show and went to the casino once and spent the rest of the week in the hotel and walking the strip.

@@barrydano1701 That wouldn't put power in the system, it would just spin the starter if it even did that, it would likely short a fuse first. What they should have done is apply lots of duct tape to a window and make a handle to pull down on a window till it could get an arm in and unlock it.

Unless ford has changed their starters the power wire from the battery to the starter does not connect directly to the celinoid so anything that doesn't feed through the ignition would be powered, including the power locks. I could be wrong, I haven't driven tow truck in 34 years and haven't done mechanic work except on my own vehicles in 8 years.

Early on Kristen did an incredibly smart job of not fostering the continuation of the illegal parkers' arguments about whether they could park in that particular location by abruptly announcing that the drop fee would be $150. If the vehicle had not been blocking the road and if their friends had hurried up with the cash, this might have been resolved right there. Unfortunately, by the time these guys got a ride to the EA lot, they were ready to renew all of their arguments. Jeff and Kristen, you did a great job holding your own in a professional manner. About the time Jeff said if he had to keep standing there arguing the price should be going up, I had to stop the video momentarily just to let my blood pressure drop some.

If a vehicle is dead and won’t open without power an option could be to get under the vehicle to connect a jump pack to the positive cable on the starter. Most vehicles will have a starter accessible from the bottom. That positive cable on the starter goes directly to the battery.
