Yeah but she was right. Eisenstein actually failed in school but then turned out to be a genius. There had been several attempts to build flying machines before the Wright brothers air plane. None of them worked and most people at the time thought it was impossible.

Correcting errors is a strong phrase. I don't even think I'm correcting people or anybody else in this conversation is correcting each other. I think we are all throwing in our opinions on quite a difficult subject. At this point it is more of a pissing contest with eachother rather than a battle of smarts.

If murder is the deliberate killing of an innocent human being, then doing as you say is objectively murder, just as doing the same a day after birth is, or a day after one's 16th birthday.

My reason for not considering someone in the womb "alive" is because when in the womb you are still in the heavy developmental stages of what leads up to "life" such as a brain which is one of the last things to start developing and continues to develop your entire life, but when what makes a person a person isn't present how alive are they? Much like in cases when someone is in a vegetative state, technically they are alive but mentally dead aside from a few basic instincts.

You misspelled accept as except. Also, I'm a half-christian (Dad's side) half-Jewish (Mom's side) Buddhist Wiccan agnostic who believes that if there is a God, that would be an ambivalent Armchair God, and you know what? That's worked out just fine so far.

babies in the womb react to their fathers voice and will recognize their voice when they are born. There are countless studies about babies individual personalities in and out of the womb. My little sisters were very clearly who they were at birth straight up through adulthood. I have even read some articles about twins and the ability to tell them apart by their personality even when they are only just born.

I agree with you up until the part about babies having personalities in utero, though there is evidence that backs up the idea, I personally believe the reactions are more based off of instinct or biological makeup vs. a cognitive thought, as I mentioned before there have never been any recorded cases of a person having memory within the womb, but some swear they remember being born. But I fully agree that infants and newborns have personalities.
