Your thrift videos are my absolute favorite on KZbin. We have an identical style, and you always find such great stuff. The other day I found a brand new with tags black wool blazer from Sag Harbor. Still had the tags on it from the original store from years ago. I got it for $7.43. I couldn't believe my luck. I've been wanting a black blazer but was holding out for the right one and finally found it. It's not that scratchy winter wool. Hard to describe, but it's so beautiful. I thought of you when I found it.

I haven’t seen a poor boy sweater that nice in decades….I also get some of my tops and pants from my son as well. Have a Grateful Dead tee that was his…get tons of compliments on it. You and me love gray cashmere…have many Land End jewel neck and sleeve cardigans that always make it through the rotation.

Love your casual style and that you find many fabulous pieces through thrifting. I find it hard to find pieces here in northern VT even with quite a number of thrift stores. The prices are quite high though and sometimes it’s actually cheaper to buy brand new than thrifting. 😢

Rural western Kansas is slim pickings for thrifting. I miss being close to the big city, I used to thrift most of my clothes when I lived there. We were told by a manager in Good Will here that the good stuff goes to Wichita.

Have you thought of wearing jumpers and polo necks under pieces like the linen shirt instead of putting on a cardigan or jacket? I have been doing this lately and it means items in my wardrobe get worn more plus I really like the contrast in textures and the fact you can see the shirt or dress; it is not hidden by the layer on top

Great idea! I do tend to add a layer on top instead of underneath. That said, I've been thinking of adding a tissue-weight turtleneck that I can wear under tops without adding bulk. I'll think of you when I wear it! Thanks!! 🥰
