hi, thanks! you can see the settings i filmed in @ the 8:00 mark but it still highly depends on the current lighting and motion conditions :) hope it helps tho xx

oh & also.. white balance in auto, creative style in standard (default), and no/default picture profile :)

yes, manual so i could set the shutter speed to 2x the frame rate for that natural "motion blur" (4k24p = 1/48-1/50). iso is set to auto but i set the range between 100-1600 to minimize grainy footages with higher iso levels. then i just manually adjust the aperture accdg to the available light (max of f3.5 usually only for lowlight or if i want the blurriest background like when showing products; around f4.0-5.6 indoors; f8.0 up to f22 for outdoor/sunny scene or if i want to have more things in focus for a sharper picture like landscapes or buildings).

Idk why people don’t understand how expensive cameras really are 😅 I have this camera in black and for the price it is probably the best beginner budget friendly camera. Most cameras easily past $1000 these days without the lens. Anyways, this was a great video!!

I think it depends on where you live also! In the USA you can get it up to 600-700 which is more budget friendly! Here in Canada it’s 999 plus tax around 1k

Dude budget is at most $500 like we understand there is no good Camera for $120 but smth that’s $200 is vv budget friendly and you can find a decent camera not some $700 camera

Do you find this camera overheats and shuts off to cool down after a while? I have an older Sony camera and I used to film makeup tutorials but after about 15-20 minutes it would say the battery was too hot and then shut down to cool off -_-

hmm yes, it does heat up when shooting continuously but i haven't experienced it shutting down on its own. also, if it helps, i set the 'auto power off' setting to 'high' since this model doesn't have a recording time limit and allows continuous shooting for as long as the battery/storage can accommodate :)

Nice video! Already suscribed 😊 I have two questions, first one is how do you find taking photos in bright days without an EVF? Was there anytime where you were not able to due to reflection on the screen? And the second question is why do all the vlogs put the photos in a smaller scale than the video, are the megapixels not enough? Thanks in advance, beautiful video!!

thanks for coming here today! 🫶🏻 1) i would usually cover the screen with my hand and peek thru it + make sure to touch wherever i wanna focus lol it also has a feature that when enabled, you can set the focus area to be colored in red/white/yellow/blue (i like turn this on sometimes). taking photos on the screen is very much like taking photos on your phone, only it’s smaller 🥲 some advantages, however, are better image quality (esp in low light) and the extra room for editing when shooting RAW. 2) hmm, not exactly. the sensor has 24 megapixels which is actually a lot more than enough for social media use. honestly, i just thought the white frame is a nice touch 😅 hope this helps! xx

Hi! Do you need to use a separate stabilizer for the camera or do you feel like it shoots stable video for vlogging?

actually, if not for the 1.44x crop factor, the active stabilization mode works for me most of the time. although this can be solved by using a wide angle lens, it's still not as smooth as when you shoot with a gimbal. a more effective option is to use the Sony Catalyst Browse during editing. it's an app that can stabilize footages from any Sony camera (that stores gyro data), and it produces gimbal-like results. it may be an extra step, but i think it's worth the effort especially if you wanna keep your gear lightweight and quick to set up :) let me know if this helps! x
