Its just the useablility of its for its size and weight that's so appealing. If I didn't need something more beefy and only did regular business/student stuff on a laptop, id 100% consider the MacBook air - especially now it has M1

A little tip only apple will tell you about taking care of apple products: to keep the battery performing at its best, never unplug the charger until the device is at 100% (don’t keep it plugged in after it reaches full battery). Wait to plug it in until it’s less than 30%. This will keep your battery from aging so fast.

With Li-Ion batteries it's actually the opposite. You should keep your battery percentage between 30% and 80%.

If you have newer MacbookPro/Air models, there is not big of a difference if they are plugged in all the time. Just let them drain to 30-50% once a week. The software keeps the battery health good.

Hi, I've been watching this particular vlog of yours for the nth time while waiting for my MacBook, like you I wasn't able to purchase it from Apple's website or @ physical stores as they always run out of stocks, because of you we've also chosen the Silver color too, literally the same one you got, haha, your vlog was the most heartfelt of 'em all, was literally having "kilig" moments last night as the parcel came in late at LBC's depot and had to ship it the next business day (thank heavens as they deliver on Saturdays as well haha). hey there op, just want to remind you to please PLEASE wear your mask when receiving parcels. even if it’s just a short interaction, the virus can still be transmitted to you. drivers get in contact with almost everyone and everywhere so it’s the best to wear a mask when interacting with them. also, sanitize your products outside using lysol or sanitizing wipes. and then proceed to also sanitize the products inside if it’s opened already. it made me really cringe because you hugged the parcel and didn’t wear a mask when you went to get it. i know it’s because your excited, but it should be normalized to use masks when getting your parcels :( considering that you have an elderly person in your home, it’s hard to get infected with the virus. anyways, this was still a lovely video. very visually appealing and aesthetic !

I'm actually surprised the M1s are sort of budget friendly. Yeah, yeah, I know.. 35k ain't budget friendly. But considering you'd only get a mid-range windows laptop at that price point, the M1s are definitely the budget oriented ones, especially when you consider that Apple is known for supporting older systems so you're pretty much getting a long term system for the 35k.

Hi! This is already a year late but I just wanted to say that I really appreciate how in depth you have researched on what to do and not to do on your macbook.. I was able to relate on a lot of things on your video (such as not being able to sleep for a few days while waiting, being so excited as it was also the first high end laptop that I have bought for myself, being extra meticulous on a lot of things) and I have also watched dozens of videos on how to take care of my macbook for how many weeks before my macbook arrived, and I could say that your video really sums up all those tips and reminders pretty well.. I'm not putting hate but here's something you can improve your videos: -better lightning -change your angle (so that we can see what's on the table or what you doing clearly) -putting more stuff on your table -avoid clips like running at the beginning because I don't know- it just makes me uncomfy tho xd I know my words might hurt but just to tell you (I'm sorry) here are ideas for your videos in case you're lack inspiration: -vlog (first day of school, out from home, random vlog) -room tour/room makeover -xxx with me (decorate my laptop with me, study with me, journal with me, cook with me) -how I xxx (how I edit my videos, how I study, how I prepare before exams, how I spend my time, how I catch up with school) and more of course! -faq/qna when you reach maybe 1k subscribers?! maybe you already did some of these, but I just wrote it (I haven't watched all of your videos because I'm your new subscribers through this video lol)

May I ask, why did you choose to buy two MacBooks? I also have a MacBook and I love it so much! It's a 2016 MacBook Pro, and in 2022, it is still going strong! I am planning on purchasing a new one in 2024 as this one is starting to lose its efficiency in terms of speed, but I am definitely going to keep it as a backup since it is still so functional! I am able to run so many applications for a cost of maybe a little bit of speed but no lag! What I love most about the mac is how it is such a productivity tool. I see that you removed almost every default app from your doc which was funny to me because at first, I didn'T know I could customize the dock so I eventually forced myself to learn each and every app and now I found a use for all of them haha. My dock is, however, very much customized now. I got rid of and replaced a few things. I was also surprised when I saw how small your dock was once you were finished! My dock has always been long ever since I purchased it so seeing it small was really weird at first lol. But I can see how that can limit distractions. Although the computer itself is great for productivity thanks to the amazing interface that allows efficient multitasking, this laptop can easily be a great source of distraction. My distractions are especially Sims 4 and Roblox lol! But the true game-changer is definitely message and facetime. I also chose a silver model as it looks way cleaner and in my eyes at the time, "less depressing" haha! But for my next model in 2023, I am definitely going to be purchasing a space grey model. I hope you enjoyed your new laptop as much as I did mine! I wish you many great productive study sessions with it!.
